Man, I've sat down and played Diddy for the first time. I have to say, is there no end to the string of attacks that Diddy can do? FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF it feels like you can attack a shield forever if you space stuff properly.

Who even designed this game?!?

It actually doesn't, you try to grab and ofcourse that doesn't work. If ftilt hits after a tech chase when I am
literally lying in the ground. I'm sure ftilt would hit after a shielded fair.

And you can't complain, you use snake.

Pretty sure you can't complain as long as you're choosing to keep playing the game MK is in. ;)

100% serious, I think Fox counters Metaknight 6:4. MK cannot camp Fox at all because of lasers, mixing up drill -> stuff, air dodge -> up tilt, and air dodge -> grab gives Fox a good way to get in on MK and punish him a lot of the time pretty strong, blocking MKs down smash gets him up smashed every time easily, and he combos him hard even if you smash DI the up tilts MK is still in a bad position. I think Fox is an extremely, extremely underrated character because they are not enough good Fox's. I have never played TKD, but some Fox at Apex2 almost beat me in pools, and probably would have won both matches instead of lost if he didn't fall into habits such as constanlty spamming up tilt after a drill or double jumping in the same spot or spamming up smash when I'm at kill % while I am just waiting for it and baiting it. I honestly think Fox has a clear advantage in this matchup if he plays it right.
I also think Fox beats MK on most neutrals. In addition to everything Jason just said, Fox's often underlooked saving grace is his full hop escape. He can just full hop out of any pressure, and his jump height off a full hop is ridiculous (you will not hit him with SH ANYTHING). He also rises very quickly, and due to awesome FF speed, can punish most whiffs. This allows him to destroy vertical spacing battles, despite losing in more popular horizontal spacing. Not falling into habits as Fox, learning how to use your good close range, being able to stall in midair ridiculously while having the fastest falling speed, breakneck rising speed, and 3rd fastest Dash, makes this characters camp game STUPIDLY solid.

Fox is hard to play though, but I think this character is A Tier.
This just in guys, Fox beats MK.

dont care if he does well against mk and snake, he still has two unwinnable mus, and several other really hard ones.

he probably is high tier, but only just.

dont think thats completely true.

d3 should never win against mk. falco should never win against pikachu. snake should never win against d3. pikachu should never win against marth.

the first couple that came to mind.

that isn't entirely true at all for those characters.
D3/Pikachu/Snakes you listed (bar snake, who's broken and because of that laughs in the face of defeat) don't get obliterated by "punishments" like Pikachu against Falco/Fox; they're just characters who naturally lose, but at least if they make a mistake it isn't a near 0-death.

watch the mu played right and its stupid. theres a reason why razer loses to d3s that no ones ever heard of before.

and falco, shaya admitted, is obliterated by pikachu, but he's top 5. go figure.

ICs/Snake is really stupidly bad for ICs and they're 5th. ROB too.

I don't really see why having one or two stupidly bad matchups instantly makes a character unviable, you just pick up a second for those few matchups. It's when a character has a lot of terribad matchups (as in at least half the roster) that they become "unviable".

Anyone that uses high tier shouldn't complain imo, they are all viable characters. Just learn to get better. :/ Rob is pretty unviable in my opinion, but then again anyone can win games if they got correct spacing + strategy. San is pretty amazing xD and hes uses ike! heh

And yeah I'm not going to say im good or anything, because i know a majority of players could beat me with no worries.

Just annoys me when people still ***** even when they're using a great character. Only C and below should be allowed to rip into their character =p

Olimar mains are allowed to rip into their character every time they get gimped. Its right there, in the rules, because its just about the most annoying thing ever. Stupid tether recovery being gay as ****ing ****.

Olimar's recovery isn't too bad.
Although when the Pikmin decide "Oh, let's reach the edge with up-b, even interact with it, but lol, we won't grab it so die", it's gay.

Even better is when the pikmin stand right next to Olimar as you're falling, but don't join in the chain, and just stand there as you die because they were too ****ing lazy to do anything.

Falco isn't obliterated by Pikachu.

Don't be silly. He can camp the matchup fairly well.

You know what it takes at the beginning of a match to swing things in to Falco's favour?

One chaingrab. That one grab puts Pikachu above 50. Pikachu can't simply be a douche and wait for his grab because Falco has the percent lead. With the removal of Pikachu's chaingrab, Falco does EXTREMELY well against Pikachu, and as long as you take that first stock. You've got a heap of room for error, and TIME to get that extra grab on Pikachu's next stocks to avoid future Pikachu chaingrabs.

An overrated matchup if I ever saw one.
