ICs/Snake is really stupidly bad for ICs and they're 5th. ROB too.

I don't really see why having one or two stupidly bad matchups instantly makes a character unviable, you just pick up a second for those few matchups. It's when a character has a lot of terribad matchups (as in at least half the roster) that they become "unviable".

interestingly enough, ally thinks the mu is in ics favour. didn't say why though.

and they become unviable because they need to beat those mus to win tourneys. if you can't beat one character in the game, there is a very real chance you will lose a major. this does explain why to date, only four characters have won major american tourneys.

Olimar's recovery isn't too bad.
Although when the Pikmin decide "Oh, let's reach the edge with up-b, even interact with it, but lol, we won't grab it so die", it's gay.

brood always seems to have a purple when he gets hit offstage. always. olimar mains should get better lol

Falco isn't obliterated by Pikachu.

Don't be silly. He can camp the matchup fairly well.

You know what it takes at the beginning of a match to swing things in to Falco's favour?

One chaingrab. That one grab puts Pikachu above 50. Pikachu can't simply be a douche and wait for his grab because Falco has the percent lead. With the removal of Pikachu's chaingrab, Falco does EXTREMELY well against Pikachu, and as long as you take that first stock. You've got a heap of room for error, and TIME to get that extra grab on Pikachu's next stocks to avoid future Pikachu chaingrabs.

lol I learned that about 3 months ago and gave up on using pika against ice climbers. If almost all your attacks can be shield grabbed, you can't camp, you only create openings if they foolishly jump into the air to chase you, and they can interrupt and grab you out of all your throws, you are pretty screwed.

@tibor: if your complaining about getting punished when your attacks are shielded, try versing a diddy kong. oh wait, last time you did, you lost. its sucks when every single attack you had can be punished by a kill move or string.

In Tibs defense, I'm just plain better than him so it's reasonable that he'd lose to my Wolf.

But yeah, no, Wolf does have the tools to avoid grabs, which is why it's possible for him to beat characters like Pika/ICs.

Pika however, does not have said ability which is why it's difficult for him to beat ICs.

Def ICs advantage IMO.

pika/ics even wuuuut.

tibs ics **** pika pretty hard, i dunno about a full 70:30 but its pretty bad. enjoy not being able to separate well (dsmish sucks), not having good shield pressure, not having good zoning or being able to really camp. sure, go to town if I do get separated but it's a pretty steep hill as far as getting me into that situation goes.

im actually fairly interested to see why 'tilldog thinks its even.

in fact, im pretty sure im the only person her who's actually played those mus at a high level.

that means i actually a worthwhile opinion, unlike majority of the people who comment on these matters.

not so much anymore, but my main training partner in japan was a d3 main. other than that, i play condog's d3 fairly regularly. khoa/ledge pull them out too very occasionally.
