Larry finally showed his true power.

We knew he was the destined one... the one to ascend to a new level beyond super saiyan.
Yes, M2K the robot (reference Android 16) fell to the evil Brood (Who, similar to cell, spawned little things to help him fight), and Larry was like "AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" and ***** with his amazing powers.

Cell hardly needed the Cell Jr.s to help him fight, he was just trolling at that point and was all 'lol see I can kill all the Z warriors at once'

Oh really? I never knew that

In fact, I never even watched the series.

In fact I'm completely oblivious and couldn't have been using that to improve my comparison between DEHF vs Brood and Gohan vs Cell.

Get out of my house son. You're dumb.

But Brood vs M2K was close as ****, and Brood didn't really do anything flashy enough to make it 'lol I'm styling on you for fun now'. Plus, DEHF had already beaten Brood, and thus seeing M2K go down wouldn't have put him in rage mode to help him win. Your comparison is ****.

Man, this is the best community. Everyone rages at the drop of a hat and starts spamming insults. In between you and Luke, if I ever feel masochistic, I don't have to go far.

I turned on my Wii and tried playing Olimar pretty much as soon as the stream ended.

I remember why I never play Oli. Mad respect to Brood though

lol what the hell, who the **** is brood lol.
oh well, he beat m2k with olimar, thats funny

remember all those japan america comparison threads, and how america said they were the best in the wrold by a long shot and anybody from japan would get completely ***** in america.

yeah, good old america, so **** at everything.

also lol at pete, nobody likes his **** jokes and his "I'm so smart and analytical" attitude, and so he gets mad and starts with the usual pathetic not even funny insults.
I love this site.

also your rant was pretty **** lol.

I was practically bleeding from all the fingernail biting I did in M2K vs Brood g5.
are you sure it wasnt that time of the month lololol

Yeah, Brood and M2K's set was amazing. I totally didn't see Brood bringing it back after getting 3 stocked so badly. Last match was intense as hell.

This set, and the Japanese's performance at this tournament, shows that all we need to become robot-like at Smash is to play and practice and play. Reading Attila's article explaining how they play for the love of the game and practice oh so very hard, then coming to a tournament like this and demonstrating that they are definitely no joke, it brings me to think that Australia could do this well on an international scale, even in isolation. Certainly not this year, or maybe even next, but the Japanese prove that it's about practice and caring about the game enough to want to improve. Something that our scene is largely out of touch of.

I'm legitimately going to practice with olimar, fun time(outs) coming.

Also I think Attila and myself said 'omg game 5 was amazing' about 40 times in the space of 5 minutes. brood we <3 you.
