Thanks.

I hear Ganon vs Sheik is 0 (something to do with her tilts?) but I can't seem to find any video examples...
Because nobody is going to fight that match, haha.

Her Ftilt will lock until some freakishly high percent, where you can't get out of it. Then she has her forward special, the chain, which is a disjointed hitbox that she can keep out indefinitely and move around. Because Ganon has no projectiles and his disjoints aren't large enough to hit Shiek though the chain. So basically Shiek can needle Ganon, or Ftilt lock him, KO him, and then chaincamp to the end of the match.

I think that's it anyway.

Yeah, you practically nailed it on the head. It's not a 0:100 MU, but it's incredibly hard to fight. You have to be patient about the match, or you will most definitely lose to her, although statistics show you losing anyway, if you play with Ganon.

How should I play Ganon in Brinstar and Norfair?
I honestly prefer Norfair over Brinstar. Ganon's mobility is pretty good on that stage. Since the platforms are small, it's much easier to read what the opponent will do after a Flame Choke. Norfair works wonders for him.

The Ganoncide on the lava kills them but not you. Most people are lighter and being knocked around on that stage is a huge deal. Stage layout promotes an aerial game, which is a huge plus for the Dorf.

Question: How do you improve your Ganon metagame when you can't seem to improve at all after playing hours a day. :x

Know your enemy. Learn some new characters, particularly ones you have trouble fighting. Practice with them.

'Tis the key to being a good Ganon main. Ganon's style is all defense with punishing power. Knowing your opponent's character better than them, will ultimately result in your chances being higher, at winning, of course.

I never thought of it that way. I need to learn when they screw up--some people are so good I feel like they can use their character at a level I can't comprehend. x.x

Like, I can't do certain things they do with that character, so it rarely comes to mind. But for some reason I love falco laser spam. I love PSing it like crazy. It makes me giggle when it gets neutered.

Q: What's the best option (for Ganon) to do with Diddy's Nanas aside from Banana Choking, which seems to be known for Diddy mainers (since I CAN'T Gerudo a Diddy when I got a banana on my hand... =( )?

I've tried doing that instant air toss thing, where you catch it by hitting shield. mid-air, and then you flick the c-stick in a direction of your choice, and it should come out, as Ganon simply throwing the Nanas back at Diddy, instantly.

Bahamut, it's pretty hard to land it, but not impossible. You just have to make them think you're going for the banana choke and use other setups instead--once they start shielding when you approach them, THEN start going for banana chokes. Right off the bat though they are going to be scared of the choke. At 60% it's pretty much auto k.o.

Okay then, picking up other characters sounds like the way to go. I've started learning to play a bit with Sheik, but DACUS is really hard with her. :psycho:

is it possible to sweet spot ganon's warlock punch? i once did 44 damage by hitting someone with the tip of ganon's fist and was very confused since it only suppose to do around 35% damage

I'm pretty sure that reverse-aerial warlock punch will do about that. Did you hit him on the ground?

I did a reverse-reverse-aerial WP once on a charizard. God, that was so satisfying--stage spiked him at like a thousand miles an hour too.

I know what you mean. It's like opening up a can of Sprite after a long long long day at work.... times 10 to the Ganonth power. :ganondorf:

Any tips to not get ***** from close (Ganon is super-limited)? And any tips to not get juggled as easily?

If you don't want people close to you, Jab "GTFO Palm" makes your life easier.
If you don't want to be juggles, Airdodge and NAir are your friends. If you have enough time, you can stomp the juggler's azz. =]

Okay, so I've picked up Brawl again and with that I've been playing Ganondorf again. So as a big, big question - what are the best AT's/techniques to learn for Ganondorf? I'm pretty savvy with just playing normally but my tech skill needs a lot of work.

IMO, Chain Choking is about a must learn technique...
Thunderstorming, Chestplate Combo, Tipman Bouncing and KOs(by Gimp) are also very important.
But Ganon is all about mindgames and not wasting frames and openings your opponent gives you.

Chestplate combo? I must have missed that one. Could you explain it to me or give me a link to a thread that does?

It's dair stuff to sourspot bair to other stuff, I know about it but it's not that great? I dunno, it looks fancy though. Same with Tipman combo's.

I'm not looking for combo's but actual techniques, like.. for instance, Glide Tossing is an AT. I'm not looking for something similiar to it, but at least something that takes some finger skill, as I need to practice it.

As for Thunderstorming, I named it, so I know about it d:

Well, 'Dair > Dair > Chestplate > anything' can be hard to land due to the fact that Dair > Dair doesn't work very well Vs good people.

However, if the opponent already has around 23% damage, Dair > Fullhop Chestplate -> Uair is pretty **** effective, believe me.

As for tricky inputs... A Rising Fullhop Forward Chestplate can be pretty tricky to pull off.
It doesn't work with the C-stick since it'll turn it into a Shorthopped Chestplate.

You must press: Jump > Back > A > Forward, in that order, in a split second,
for it to work properly and frame-perfect.

¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤

Also, Flipman requires a tricky input.
And Clai's new ledgedrop > Aerudo to stage.

:034: <- For Dutchman's sake.

Follow ups on the wizkick??

Okay, there is never a time you can follow up after that unless your opponent is brain dead--at low enough percents they can just take the hit and retaliate with a smash of their choosing.

Perfectly spaced wizkick cancels -> aerial of your choice for edgeguards are legit.

Yeah, either Wizkick Cancel + hit, or, Wizkick Rollout + hit.
The opponent knows about that huge lag when you're Wizkickin' ON stage, but if they overestimate their chances to punish you, they might just get Shield Grabbed.
At low %'s they will always succeed in punishing you, though.
