Unfortunately, Europe doesn't have any Brawl players that can cause the kind of hype Armada and Amsah create. Because of this, Brawl gets all of its top players together more often, which means less hype for the biggest events (Japan coming here is so rare that it isn't relevant). So it's not Brawl that needs to step it up, but European Brawl.

but nonetheless a -national- tournament is once every 6 months. ONE tournament where EVERYONE gets together.

these should be the most hyped tournaments, and the tournaments most people can get to even if they are short on money!!!!

Brawl has mini national every 1-2 months lol we just have too many tournaments so some decide to go to a local every weekend and spend their moneyl ike that, some decides to wait for nationals.

Hell, ****ing Viridian cities were 100ppl + and they were monthlies lmao (With OoS people from WC and stuff) I wouldnt be surprised if Brawl didnt get 200 at this

I would like to point out that if the Good Player wins the tournament or earns any winnings from singles or doubles at all, the money goes back to the Good Player Fund. Also HMW always selects the correct player for the Good Player Fund: DaShizWiz at CGC, Axe at another CGC, and Jman at DGDTJ. If the pattern continues, Armada may win *Pound* 5 if he gets funded for the Good Player Fund. Armada, learn the match up to continue this pattern.

I was hoping there was some kind of rule like this. It makes giving money to the Good Player Fund much more reasonable.

People wouldn't donate to the Good Player Fund if the Good Player kept all of the prize money. If Armada wins 1st place, he gives $500 back to the Good Player Fund and keeps the remaining money (probably like $700) for himself.

I would like to point out that if the Good Player wins the tournament or earns any winnings from singles or doubles at all, the money goes back to the Good Player Fund.

This rule applies even if Armada gets 12th (not trying to say he will get 12th) and wins like only $30. He still has to give the $30 back to the Good Player Fund.

i would be very disappointed if that is the case!! p4 had 200 people and it was my first national brawl tournament. ive put way more time and resources into it this year so that would be lame

to be honest, though, there is way more brawl hype this year than there was last...just the vibe i get from doing my poundsearches through the boards
