Haha I've seen the megaman X games but never really spent much time with them. I played more mario style platformers, but I played Nsquared which is really similar in feel to super meat boy.

I think Marth is hard. But more like 60/40 hard (you know my opinion of Ganon).
The main difference between fighting Ganon and Marth imo is that if you play smart, it can be harder for Marth to punish you heavily since you can DI to avoid his combo into spike or tipper F-smash, and most of his aerials while good for spacing won't kill you THAT early. It's also muuuuuuch easier to gimp Marth imo. One B-air offstage usually is enough especially if you hit him out of Up-B with it.
I also believe F-smash is easier to land on Marth than Ganon since Marth is more reliant on his speed as opposed to his shield pushback to wall you. There are situations where randomly crouching can force him to have to be very precise about his aerial spacing, and if he whiffs an aerial on your crouch, you're good to F-smash him.

Please tell me ONE SITUATION where the game would be different if it wasn't in there, and the landing lag was at the place it is when you L cancel always. I'll tell you, nothing. Nothing would change except the game would be easier to get into, which is a good thing.
And before you say 'that's a scrub way too look at it, you need technical difficulty' well then I guess Evo champion and designer of SF:HD Remix is a scrub because what I'm saying is based on his design logic. You don't add a useless button press just to make a game harder.
Smash as a whole is awful, get over it.

No, it is as black and white. Its an awful, awful thing and pure stupidity to put in a manual input for something so unnessicary. Its nothing but an Entry Barrier and a horrible, pointless one at that. It adds nothing to the game, there is NO REASON it should be in. Its a cheap version of a Romantic Cancel.
When you are edge canceling, you aren't looking to land but slide off. The animation is over on auto canceling so of course you don't want to autocancel, because there is nothing to autocancel.

I also saw everyone of those "Simon Cat" videos on youtube. They're awesome. (my favourite one is when the cat wakes up it's owner with a baseball bat.)
