Do you normally CP battlefield in that instance?

I used to counterpick Battlefield vs MK's but I'm now afraid to after I played Plank at Apex where he air planked me aka went on the top platforma and used all of his jumps dairing until the time ran out.

He first got a 30 percent lead then did this. Most MK players will not do this but just in case I usually cp Smashville. Have been thinking about Halberd.

Lol not true at all. I have much better aerial mobility than falco. If you try to come at me i will just beat any of your moves with dair or tornado. People always see the strategies I do and go "oh, that is easily avoided" (me vs puffster) until I do it against them. A smart player abusing Brawl's gay tactics is more efficient than anyone can really understand from an outside view.

actually since you're here, plank, could you describe exactly how you air plank? it'd be useful to have information coming from the "master" himself to try and devise strategies around it. you yourself indicated that puffster used an extremely inflexible style of play against your aircamping and didn't make an effort to try and fight it very well at all. what keitaro described to me seemed to be beatable because dair has enough lag after it where you can uair or quickly bair, i think. even if you tornado if the falco DIs during the first few frames and ADs through the side of the tornado it'd be punishable, no? but please, if you could describe air planking and why exactly it's so effective (esp. vs falco) it'd be great so that the FBR could have something to do for our hardest matchup along w/ Snake (hardest =/= most lopsided...this matchup requires way more thinking than others)

also in no way did i say beating air planking was easy lol, i just said it was doable. it requires a lot of effort and courage because you basically have to be willing to constantly try and initiate trades or guessing games and not be afraid of taking some damage in return for stopping the planking even momentarily.

I had originally posted these in the "Critique my Falco" thread but apparently that's pretty dead seeing this is here but anyway...

I gave up on Falco some weeks ago but while I was using him as a secondary I managed to get some footage. BTW I hate recovering to the ledge against Marth because I've eaten numerous tippers that way for some reason. Stupid sword...but yeah critique away.

You way outmatched him, so really I can't comment on this very well. It's best to post a match you lose, we won't think you're bad or anything, it makes rating easier.

work on your shdl timing, don't try to CG marth, instead on lower (0-9) go for dthrow > gatling, hold shield, regrab, usmash (dont gatling again, easily DI-able n stuff)

CGing marth is often just not worth the risk, you can try the buffered chaingrab but i prefer just using the method above.

i figured out that gay strategy, its just only hard to punish M2K's air camp, because he has better spacing than all of you "MK" mains out there.

nah lol, he got too far behind at the beginning, lasers dont do enough to catch up.. especially not on battlefields top platform.

He's back.

He came back at Ozzfest, going Marth/Falco.

Now he's using him most the time, but also Marth and MK sometimes to.

giving the mk time to play patient and dair camp makes them more hard to hit.
but once falco is in the lead, just laser camp all day and that makes the MK go on an offense, which will be his down fall.


oh and to prevent an MK to flying in the air just do a basic shdl to keep him on the ground that way u could try to approach him with grab cautiously, so you could start out a chaingrab, I've seen DEHF do that. So i had to take that from him lol.

i think he has played judge. when i playeed judge last at the tourney he said he had played sk before. but i dunno. and i hardly care to much. no point in making a usless argument on my part.
