So it's like, pika to us as us to falco right? Because we want to be close to falco so that he doesn't laser us... but then he has shine and dair and bair...

On my 5th 4 Loko and still ****** you.
It seems like Pika is able to jump out of Doc's dthrow CG at lowish % if he DI's straight up and tries to jump, I saw axe do it a few times and I recall n64 doing it to me when he and I played so I stopped CGing after awhile.

A big thing is that you can CC a large amount of Pika's moveset into grab or dsmash or w'e, that might help for next time.

yeah, and you can snipe double jumps. good way to start early edgeguards.

True enough, Pika's recovery is pretty ****ing good tho so these "early edgeguards" are easier said then done. I'm more curious if there is a way to land the grab before they jump out, maybe with a pivot jc grab or something along those lines.

i'm not gunna lie, I honestly forget that they can jump out at low%s cause I just look for it and have setups for it.

i KNOW you can't regrab if they dont DI and jump, but people tend to try to DI towards platforms and whatnot to get out.

Depending on DI, it's pretty much your usual follow ups out of dthrow. You could go for uair chains if he tries to DI hard left or right and try to get something going from there. Or if he doesn't DI you could try and hit him with one of your smash attacks (all 3 will connect based on DI) or a Fair or something.

I mean its' ****ing Dthrow, just hit buttons.

subzero mas... i mean shroomed probably just hasn't been using his down tilts properly vs pikachu. it's a staple in that matchup. (smirk) :D

I know how you feel, sort of. I remember playing a falco, not technically good, but around my level at the time, and I had to put much effort to beat him, and OTHER falcos lol.

Then, this girl was saying "Wow he sucks at smash."

She's obviously dumb.


So, if they say you suck, then those people you beat must be NOOOOOBS.

lol spikes I was there.

the funniest thing, spikes was teaming with some ganon main and it was spikes vs. some jiggly main I guess on brinstar. Jiggly is crouching where the stage can split apart if u hit it. Spikes accidentally dash attacks, somehow jiggly ccs it at 87% and rests for the win. Then it went to match 5 and spikes and ganon won, which was awesome.

that cc was totall bull**** :mad: but i played my heart out game 5 :) doc is soooo good in teams

ya that set really sucked. I really shoulda won that one.. I dont think ill be goin to the WI tourney tho, I dont have a ride and I haveno idea hwere it is. Also, my falcon sucks lol.

me an spieks went 1-1 in our mm's but somehow he made money and i lost money, i'm still confused about what happened. :urg::urg:

yea i saw you were kinda confused idk, this was how i saw it:
first i lost the set and was like **** lets rematch, double or nothin
then you were like "lets get another dollar in this" and i thought you meant the rematch was $2
but i think you meant just have another dollar up for show or something?

all of it went towards the pizza anyways so watevs :)
