Yeah, smokin' dat chronic.

also, would it be viable to jump out and edgeguard with Doc's down B? I've never seen it done.
In either tournament or friendlies teams yesterday (can't remember) as I was recovering n64 knocked out a space animal with his Uair and I KOed the dude out with tornado at like 40% or something, it was ****ing amazing.

Also, I really enjoy fighting Marth now.

The only tournament matches I won yesterday were with doc. And I barely practice this character. Seems like a lot of people don't know how to play doc

um, lets see.

-Half-shield -> f.air (i think you can actually full-shield -> f.air, i cant remember. I dont play enough peaches)

-don't stand next to her. (pills and tilts to keep her out, etc etc)

-jump away from setups

-keep moving so she cant get to you in the first place.

you can't bait them to do anything? Is it a oneway street?

And uuum if peach has a turnip in her hand, that's greenlight to go in there.

Sure she can still aerial, but she's not going to grab you, and she's not going to d.smash. -Mike G Pro Tip #2.

Even more reason for you to move to the bx, so I can see you **** up some peaches.

I thought this was meaning
"When she has a turnip, get inside her box and **** her up."

Which also makes sense, but yeah, I don't know what this is like from Docs side...but I like fighting Doc as Peach. No Peach to beat on as Doc around here, but Docs for my Peach to beat on is fun.

you could do your own d-smash. It has more range than hers and will beat it clean if you're far enough.

Also, what dogy said about attacking her when she's holding a turnip. It's a must.

random question, since shroomed brought up germ and Link. does doc have to reverse cape to reflect big links bombs? or was that young link?

i'd test, but i dont have my disc, cuz someone stole it last tourney :(

also, are there any other projectiles like that?

you don't HAVE to reverse cape either, it's just easier.

The thing you're trying to do is NOT hit it with the cape's hitbox, which causes the bombs to explode.

bombs aren't the problem, it's the head 2 head i lose

1. his nair beats everything and he wins the OOS game
2. his sword can outspace me (DUH)
3. edgeguarding is hella hard
4. and he kills me 50 times faster than i can kill him

mix the pills up

you only full hop pilled, then he'd go under and up-air you

sheild them household items(bomb and boomerang), then go in(he mite backup and f-air so be careful on when to do it)

if you wanna approach short hop uair to whatever

u gotta make him switch it up and get link uncomfortable

otherwise ur gonna get bodied everytime

and actually space and once u hit him u gotta get off(i played mad aggressive against him oddly, thats what phil said, german will prolly think different)

and link cant do **** when you pressure him cept roll(remember that if you get that thin chance)

and when u do something oos and miss, sheild immediately, cuz he'll upb oos

the only reason im posting this is cuz i do that matchup almost every tournament

I don't really see it as a problem, I guess you get used to it. Hell, more-often-than-not, Foxes hate me cause they know all I really care about is getting one or two good grabs per stock.

I honestly get more worried about playing a good obscure (read: one I don't play against often) character because then I start questioning if I really have a clue what I'm supposed to be doing.

judging by the timelimit, i imagine somebody got clocked out.

Honestly, it's somehow possible to make people interested in that. I did it for the Halloween Bash, when some guy was clocking out another guy in pools.

Of course, there's no proof of this, cause 90% of anything I do for either smash community doesn't get recorded. SO LOL.

I used to feel a ton of pressure. But once you find all the things in Doc's arsenal to control what Fox does, it won't be as bad.

If you're having problems getting a grab on Fox, it probably means he's doing outspacing you. Since most Fox players will be terrified of Doc's grab, they'll probably want to hop around a lot or simply retreat (in order to outspace you) whenever you try to approach with anything. hit me up on AIM if you want more specifics.

HES TOO FASTTTTTTT. xD

I know that if I TRY to grab him, I will not. xD Then bad scary stuff happens. So its more like "O HEI I GOT A GRAB" but by the time you get the grab you probaly just threw him up or something. Hopefully you didn't just let him let go xD :3

I know it's possible. I've talked to some of the people that witnesses Spamerer vs Vidjo in person and it was apparently really hyped / hilarious.

I'm still interested in seeing what the commentators would say, though.

HEY T-CASH HOW BOUT YOU NOT F***ING DOUBLE POST IN THE D*** THREAD I LOOK IN.

__

but yeah. Time's-a-changin 'round here. People gettin tore out the frame for running their mouth, and i'm just sittin around like "yeah, and people said i was unfair and stupid saying there needs to be two separate communities for brawl and melee"

*pokes head out into the main hall*

Na, I'm pretty sure I'm still right.

Not tryin to take anything away from them. Not at all. It's just two different groups with two different goals.

With thousands of dollars on the line, I am sure brawl will elevate to a new level of gayness. I was actually thinking of getting back into brawl because of its placement on the MLG circuit because it can be fun sometimes, but when people start camping hard and planking it makes me go insane. Good thing right now only a small percent of people plank.
