i tried beating sheiks w/o chaingrabbing
that **** doesnt really work
IMO that matchup is 100% in sheiks favor w/o chaingrabbing
and if i have my IPOD in my ear, that's when im givin it 100%

Yeah, Doc's backup combos that aren't chain grabs are pretty awful. He really doesn't do damage well without them.

I beasted on xyt pretty badly without CG's, I just CCed the **** out of most of the moves he threw out and played like a douche.

@Shroomed: That combo vid? Man i'm actually glad that thing's gone. I didn't make it, somebody made it for me, and I started to hate it everytime I looked at it.
Yeah, me playing m2k is the only "video vs high level" i have. I tend to not get recorded.

@Dynam: Understand that the last real tourney I've been to was sometime BEFORE halloween. I don't wanna say it was Tipped off 5 where I got destroyed by M2K, but it might have been.
And speaking of that vid,
I actually had, what I thought was, a solid strategy when I went to play him, but he never did THE ONE THING I wanted him to do, no matter how hard I tried to force it. That thing was throw a **** f.tilt. XD
But regardless, I've changed my play so **** much in 4 months. Hell, my play really changes dynamically on a day-to-day basis. I play too many games. :/

dont feel bad dogy i got 3rd at a teams tourney yesterday i could have won but it had some 2005 bs stagelist on and we got taken to corneria 
and since an 8 man teams bracket started 2 hours late and took 7 hours and i have class this morning, i had to leave before singles

SmashMac ***** at that regional, going all Doc. He got 9th out of 43. He only lost to Skrach (Marth) and Plup (Samus?).

I think this was one of the funniest things I've read to date.
When there's more to a win than just an important win, we can do anything.

I've only used Doc in tourney once, it was pools. Got 1 stocked by BO10's Flaco. :\
I think everyone needs to use Doc more.

Good luck with that ish man, I couldn't even take one match off of him. Closest I got was one stock at Yoshi's Story, and he missed like two rests, lol. But you're right about that upsmash OoS (out of shield), it actually ***** shield pressure. I killed one of his stocks off the top platform with it

You can actually setup Rest at least 9000 ways but nobody's bothered to learn them and implement them in a practical fashion.

oh, so you got hit with the OTHER version of n.air grab, the one that makes you feel stupid cause you're trying to 50/50 a character with a 1 frame invincibility move.

1 frame invincibility move that auto KOs if you're over 11.
The auto KO must always be respected.
That CG was probably one of the best executed ones I've seen. I guess it makes sense that U-tilt --> grab would work, though, since U-tilt --> non-angle F-smash works and F-smash takes longer to come out and the non-angled one is lower than the grab hitbox (I think).

That's fair, it takes awhile for people to catch onto ****. It's just disheartening when I propose good ideas and they get shot down because there are no youtube vids of me. In time tho, you shall all see that my sig is true, and the days of the "Nair-plane Doc" (Ie: WC) shall be over.
