Random thing that I remembered: At pound 4, on the third day there was a doc player who was asking me for advice vs peach because he was getting 4-stocked by Xelic all day. After the tips, it started being 3-2 stocks. Then he asked me to use doc vs Xelic. It was pretty back and forth, all close matches, but I feel that edgeguarding was my only edge in those matches.

Can Uair lead to Fair on floaties at killing % if they DI properly?

By that I mean like...a Samus, Jiggs, Peach etc at 110%+ and you SH Uair them out of their float/off the ground, they seem to go a decent distance but often it looks like their close enough for a follow up.

I was just thinking that, after a Uair on landing, would you have enough time to get a Fair?

Trouble killing them early without smashes is all. :\

I've started Uair spamming more to test it, but people keep dying before high % LOL
I'd just like to know if someone does know how to be survival-like, would it work to Uair for a kill. :\

Also, Unknowns sig should be on every EC smasher LOL

Dynamaism?: it won't link at that high percent. Vs spacies maybe at 120% with bad DI, but that's about it.

Around 65-90%, you may be able to get a f-air on the floaty characters, as long as they don't DI away from you.

Also, we should get a pic with both EC and WC on it. That'd be the greatest

Alright thanks, just a hope anyway... :[

That would be by far the greatest. Same person to draw that one too for sure.

Caping Peach umbrellas is funny

agreed to all 3.

Also, I just tested: u-air -> f-air will never link on samus, even if they DI poorly.

But yeah, if you cape peach's umbrella during the startup, she gets stunned for a very long time and you can link a smash. But watch out if they walltech it though.

That's because of hitstun lacking and from a Uair right when landing I assume?

Now I'm thinking more along the lines of late Uair landing, FJ Fair above them so they can't jump and then FF it too if they don't. At 50>100% it's probably worth trying sometimes. Sure hitstun is out so it won't actually link but there isn't that much she can do about the Fair but hit Doc before it comes out or dodge/trave. As long as she doesn't DI away of course, but usually Doc is fast enough to get there before they land I'm sure. :D

gaaahahha what? I can't remember seeing Peach get caped on startup! I'm gotta try that too. XD

lol. It sucks when they tech the cape, but if you hit a falco out of his illusion over 100%, then he will have too much stun to recover if he misses the tech.

you can hit them by outspacing them, if they try to hit you with an aerial, or you can also catch them out of their jump or airdodge as you just said, but it doesn't legitimately link on samus as a "consecutive hit", unless she doesn't DI the u-air at all between 75-85%.

Also, if you hit them with a late u-air, they are still at low enough percent to CC it.

they can CC uair at 75%?

*faints*

Consecutive hits as in 'multiple hits in a row' are close enough to 'consecutive hits' as far as the game is concerned... aren't that much different anyway. ;)

yeah, CC is gay. I'm not 100% sure that jiggs can do it at that percent, but peach and samus can. They're pretty heavy.

I meant "Consecutive hits" as far as the game is concerned.

Samus sucks when she's above you anyway.

I think hitting directly from below with the u-air lets you follow up pretty effectively even if they DI away.

Are shffled dairs a bad idea?

usmash is underrated maybe?

It is very sexy, I may spam it more. I think I've spammed enough Uair over the last few weeks, time for something new to check out :D

Pretty much, everyone gets invincibility in their heads during a usmash, so it's not as beast as Yoshi's but Doc can do some cool stuff with his head.

Tres I was gunna call bs on that, so i went looking through the frame data. Come to find out, -waves hand- it's about half and half.

What's ironic, and somewhat related to note, jiggs DOESNT have any invinc on upsmash.

___

Speaking of upsmash, I dunno how many times I've seen shroomed try to u.smash lucky oos and lucky jumped away.

That's a fast upsmash there. >.>

I'M JUST SAYIN.

O that makes sense, Jigg's head being invincible would be 222 good, since her whole body is her head.

But I don't get why Fox gets invincibility in his head, it's so POINTLESS.

LOL, truth be told I've been trying to get usmash OOS to work on technical *** fox's lately with little to no success, so back to my usual bull****. I dont know how you get it to work shroomed.

I'm not trying to down shroomed for it, cause U.smash OoS has so much utility it's stupid (it has more range than grabs in front, so it's the longest OoS punish you have for in front of you).

I just love trollin him cause apparently speed = priority now (which is false). That's something that I can't let stand.

Beyond that.

(best, troll pic, ever.

Which is more useful for approach, nair or pills?
Do I have to pick between those two?

Neither is MORE useful, they both have huge built in flaws.

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

*pound*

Just keepin it real.

It can work. I mean heck, I watched you try it enough to where I'm like "... wow, I guess i never thought to do THAT or THAT", and I can see it works.

... BUT MAN YOU STAY ON IT LIKE IT CURES CANCER OR SOMETHING.
