Everytime I look at the character ranking list I think wth is the backroom thinking about pit because obviously they have knowledge that puts him so high in the tier list that us as players don't seem to be able to copy

OMG PIT IS S TIER IN JAPAN, JAPAN MAKES ANIME, JAPAN > YOU
but they dont use our ruleset, and this tier list is meant to be judged on our metagame

Except that the character rankings list has nothing to do with the backroom and is 100% entirely dependant on what people like you and me are actually doing in tournaments.

Nah man, didn't you hear? the MK/Pit combo in teams is starting to rise. MK takes on the other two opponents, Pit spams taunts off to the side and throws in the occasional arrow or HIYAYAYAYAYAYAYA! Great way to make the other team rage quit.
