I slept on that debate last night, and I finally realized that the two should never be separated, only by scrubs who don't want to learn two movesets/how to use Down-Bs are they ever apart.

Well, they should be kept together, but you still have to start the match as one of them. And transformation time is non-trivial.

The tier placement should reflect how good it is to start that character, while fully considering for the availability of the Down-special in either one's moveset.

You know, like every one else. =\

Same for Samus. Although a one-way transform in a multi-stock game might be hard to analyze.


On this list though, it reflects how well people are doing with a certain character. I think people would expect the data to say Sheik is high if and only if players are beating people with Sheik.
