I am not trying to be mike haggar and I am nothing like him. Mike haggar is mean and yells at people about how good Sweden is while I provide valuable posts and outlooks on things that people have never seen before. Some claim that I am "trolling" when in reality they are afraid that my creative ways of looking at life and this game will cause more people to follow in a manner similar to twitter and eventually lead to a new religion developing and overshadowing theirs: Crushtianity.

:phone:
Heh.. only fools would so something of the sort. When you understand true power, then there's nothing that can stand in your way, even your religion.

This is where you are sadly mistaken, Cage the Warrior. I am already two levels ahead of ya, enough for "get on my level" to be a valid argument. I have already understood true power, and others used to misunderstand that i have understood it. You say that only fools will follow, when these "fools" you speak of, are the ones that have been cured. They know that laughter is the best medicine, and they are healthy, while you are mute. Professor Oak chose me, checkmate.

See Mogwai sent me an infraction that said something along the lines of "thank god crush is banned". I had to disagree with him, crush is hilarious.

Mogwai said that??? You see how it is to be me? When they see me rollin', for some reason they start hatin', but when I see them trollin', I just try and provide them with the common cure, aka the best medicine; laughter. But they continue to misunderstand me, along with my religion, Crushtianity. These people, these mute people, these impossible to cure patients, what a modern day chap may refer to as "haters", these followers of atheism, the non-prophet organization, christianity, the non-logic organization, and many many other religions, are the fools. You see, life is like a bottle of orange crush. all of you, the terminally ill, mute, non-laughing patients, are the amazing orange soda itself, while I am the plastic bottle. You never realize it because you are too afraid to stand up and be creative and look beyond the orange soda, but I am the ones holding you together. Without me your individual unlockable amazingness would not exist. The followers of Crushtianity are the cap and the label, the ones that make crush what he is today, the most interesting soda alive.

From crush, to mogwai^

TL;DR: it ain't easy being orange.

All you need is the warrior's spirit, enough with this nonsense.
This statement is completely incorrect Cage. The warrior's spirit is not needed, I have the spirit of a soda, not a warrior, and I have lived in this world for 13 years, 5 months, and 19 days. You were also incorrect when saying "all you need is the warrior's spirit" because things like food and water are necessary for survival. Seeing as that statement is incorrect, and that statement is also the only thing you have left in this argument, I believe that your argument is invalid. The warrior persona is trapped within you Cage. Release the warrior from the cage and let him fly like a peacock. You don't stand a ghost of a chance in this argument. You picked a fight with the wrong soda. Come to the dark side while you still can, we have fresh cookies and orange soda.

then Smash Wars 5: The unbanning of mango (mango reveals that he is crush's father)

on topic, i think marths should mostly cut out rising fair out of their game (unless its an oos punish or for double fairs in combos). its easier to use the full range of the fair with late fairs and harder to punish if spaced properly. nair should be used similarly. its hard not to rising fair out of habit and nair is too much fun. I see marths get grabbed too often because of these bad habits. Marth also has a very good walk and should be used more

Crush you really bore me. Every thread you post in becomes **** because of your trolling. Before you say "im not trolling" let me explain what you are doing and why its trolling. You say something stupid and someone corrects you, then you ignore it or counter it with more stupidity and continue on your way. In the end your only goal is to get people to respond to you, not to ask questions, give advice or talk about the game really in any serious manner.

edit- no youre not the new ICG. Everyone loved ICG because he was cute and funny. Nobody replied seriously to him. I guess it would be good if nobody replied seriously to you... maybe we could get back to normal boards activity.

- Fox is definitely Jason's best chance to beat Armada and Hungrybox, two players he is clearly better than but loses to anyway. He needs to practice the character with the best chance of winning. This is no disrespect to either of those players.
Still mad? :p

Guess some people never will change their mind.
People should stop count friendlis.

Friendlis is not tournament and stop belive what all people are saying.
Yeah my firneldis with Jason was a bit weird and both played kinda bad to be honest so one match I could win easily and he winning the next one easly and it pretty much went likt that for 30 min.

Even when I played Falco against him the matches had really different outcome (except when we played on FD).

The part that is most strange is when some people only count the freindlis when the person they wanna see win actually winning.

I would be glad to play a set against Jason in the future cause the sets are really good/hype =)

actually yes but at him and not at you. i think jason holds himself back with impatience, odd CP choices and poor confidence. he should be using a lot more fox now than he is and he should be beating you and juan at least more than he is even if the only reason is that fox is better than peach/jigglypuff.

DF as a general rule everyone takes a long time to edgeguard puff/peach/ganon.

Idk if u were arguing for sheik being lesser in teams because of it or saying other characters are better than her because of that. Or maybe i shouldnt post when its past my bedtime.

Obvious exceptions:
Shine
Rest
Falco/marth dair.

They are nothing but exceptions to the rule.

Yeah exactly; the ability to get kills quickly and at low %s is very very valuable because it doesn't allow the opposing teammate to assist them at all. Even a sheik properly edgeguarding a fox might need 2-3 edgeguard iterations before the opponent dies; we were just saying that thats something she lacks in teams.

She can do it if there's another Fox/Falco/Falcon/Ganon, even Marth sometimes. That was our main plan, if the team is Peach/Fox (Which is a top tier disgusting team) We HAD to double team Fox, because everytime I approached Peach, I'm the one who got destroyed with teams combos lol. So basically you push Peach away when you can then put Fox off-stage then M2k kills him at 40-50% if he can.. but it happened a bit of times vs Bam and Vwins. They beat us 3-0 in winners finals, then we beat them back pretty hard in GF 3-0 and 3-1. M2k's edgeguarding is near flawless, it's disgusting, no matter how Fox tries to recover he's there in his face. I <3 excellent team partner lol. And then Peach obv goes to try to save Fox off-stage because it's Peach but I'm also covering the stage as well in case, it's an airtight strat.

Hmmm I think crews at the next big tournament should be character Specific. It would be nice to see how well a Solid Marth team do against everyone else....except a sheik team that would be ghey.

It looks like this thread as progressed quite a bit since it was started, and I don't even know if the current discussion(s) is/are relevant to the original topic. Nonetheless, Marth's viability has become a big question to me. It certainly seems that, in the context of a complete tournament set, Marth is ultimately fighting an uphill battle against Fox, Falco, and Sheik. If Brinstar and DK64 are legal counterpicks, then a Sheik gets to counterpick either Brinstar or DK64 against Marth if she so chooses, which, from my current perspective on the game, seems almost to grant Sheik a free win if the Sheik plays the stages correctly and the Marth is not sufficiently more skilled (of course, this might not be the case and I might only believe it because I do not know how to play on those stages). If Rainbow Cruise is legal, then a Fox player will either get Pokemon Stadium or Rainbow Cruise on his counterpick. On the other hand, it seems that Marth has only one significantly good stage against Sheik (Final Destination), which can be banned without much tribulation by Sheik. It was also rather discouraging to see Taj get utterly destroyed by Mango's Fox and Mew2King's Marth wiped out by Mango's Falco. Of course, Taj beat Mango's Falco in a finals set, but in that set Mango also always returned to the stages he lost on and beat Taj by a significantly greater margin than Taj had beat him originally.

Of course, I haven't been following any of the discussions in this forum and am basing this on my own observations and discussions with knowledgeable players in my state, so my knowledge about these things may be inaccurate/incomplete.

Just last No Johns I beat competent sheiks on both Brinstar and KJ64. Both were game 3s. The current stage list is good for Marth, and it keeps getting better. The less CPs, the better. Marth is also underrated on Stadium and Dreamland imo.

i hate how i have to scroll past sveet's posts to read crushes posts :(
I'm Jack Hoyt and I approve this message.

Also, @ Niko, I really like dream land for marth, but I hate pokestadium. stadium is marth's kryptonite imo. Whenever someone cp's my marth to stadium it seems like the stage icon is just a picture of a troll face and instead of the selection screen calling it "Pokemon stadium" it seems like it says "u mad bro?" Marth is like the Roy and Pokemon stadium is like the opponent holding down on the control stick.

This is so true, and I'm pretty sure I've said it before. If we're going by Genesis 2 rules, Marth's only iffy stage is really Kongo.
