old infinity ward-- the one that hadn't already lost half of their studio and had to bring in two other crappy studios. probably wont play blops2 on the month of release.

CoD4 may be the best CoD, but it was merely a fluke. IW has done nothing but **** up since CoD4.

The only reason I like CoD4/WaW more than the current CoD games is because the lack of air support and random ****. They're trying to put so many things into these games between killstreaks, guns, perks, equipment, etc and they still don't seem to understand that you can't properly balance a game with all of that.

I don't know if I like CoD4 or WaW better. They were both great games.

No, WaW didn't suck because of one SMG that people think is horrendously overpowered. It's not that bad. It was a great game and if it wasn't hacked I'd still play it.

i never actually played cod4, my first real cod was MW2-- and i still love it more than any multiplayer game ive ever played (barring melee). i picked up WaW after MW2, and i remember liking it a bunch, since there was so much versatility with the ironsight snipers and semi auto rifles.

I'll be the odd ball here and say Air support actually makes these games more fun. Coming from somebody who runs specialist 90% of the time. It's pretty underpowered in this game.

Ditto. Last Stand is still in MW3, in the campaign and survival/spec ops modes.

That's nothing. I once got the game winning kill cam with a blop grim reaper. (I've also gotten blop crossbow/tomahawk and ballastic knife kills.)

I still play, just not as much as Blops. I actually don't mind doing bad in Black Ops as much as I do in this game, and I cannot comprehend why that may be. My best game of Black Ops happened yesterday in a game of Dom: 26-2. My best game of MW3? 17-3, which happened back around the first week of getting the game. I can't tell if I'm just bad at CoD overall, or just MW3. I can play Black Ops really well without even being prudent and cautious, while running my sniping class.
Oh, and I think I'm an official snipist, now. I love bolt action rifles in every CoD I've played up to current.

If I see a guy, I stop sprinting and shoot him, usually netting the kill even if my draw was a bit slower because of sprint lag. In MW3, I would have been killed before pulling my sights up. I need to turn corners with my sights raised to stand a chance.

This is why I use quickdraw in MW3 (actually in Black Ops I still use sleight of hand pro). Since you can ADS faster, it gives you a slight edge when you first see the enemy.
