international hype? leon gluttony possibly more japanese than last time? ill just change my sig to the apex thread around that time if it isnt stickied. This is pretty much the genesis of brawl, AND its on the east coast, where brawl tourney hype lives

this is going to be the most godlike thing to ever exist in tourney history for smash.

I know what your saying but I think this is beyond what Genesis has ever done. We are not just going for a big event but big production value. We care about those who can and cannot make it and we realize what social websites ( twitter/facebook/etc) can do for our community along with a well done stream.

All smash players will be talking about this event. Melee will be just as big as Brawl and just as hyped.

Our goal is to show people something that has never been done. We are currently working on several Legends and notable people to attend and take a look at this event.

We can do this guys!

Hmm. Question. When you're talking about the OOC trip, does that include Canadians?

Granted, people flying overseas should get priority, but do we still count?

Sounds good. Cause a tour is something I'd definitely love to do. But its something that can be worried about when the time comes.

But another questions. What's union square? Lol.

Union Square

Union Square is an important and historic intersection in New York City, located where Broadway and the former Bowery Road – now 4th Avenue[4] – came together in the early 19th century; its name celebrates neither the Federal union of the United States nor labor unions but rather denotes the fact that "here was the union of the two principal thoroughfares of the island."[5] Today it is bounded by 14th Street to the south, Union Square West on the west side, 17th Street on the north, and on the east Union Square East, which links together Broadway and Park Avenue South to Fourth Avenue and the continuation of Broadway. Union Square Park is under the aegis of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.
Neighborhoods around the square are the Flatiron District to the north, Chelsea to the west, Greenwich Village to the south, and Gramercy to the east. Many buildings of The New School are near the square,[6] as are several dormitories of New York University.[7]
The eastern side of the square is dominated by the four Zeckendorf Towers, on the site of the bargain-priced department store, S. Klein, and the south side by the full-square block mixed-use One Union Square South (Davis Brody Bond, 1999).[8] It features a kinetic wall sculpture and digital clock expelling bursts of steam, titled Metronome. Among the heterogeneous assortment of buildings along the west side is the Decker Building.
Union Square is noted for its impressive equestrian statue of George Washington, modeled by Henry Kirke Brown and unveiled in 1856, the first public sculpture erected in New York since the equestrian statue of George III in 1770 and the first American equestrian sculpture cast in bronze. Other statues in the park include the Marquis de Lafayette, modeled by Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi and dedicated at the Centennial, July 4, 1876, Abraham Lincoln, modeled by Henry Kirke Brown (1870), and the James Fountain (1881), a Temperance fountain with the figure of Charity who empties her jug of water, aided by a child; it was donated by Daniel Willis James and sculpted by Adolf Donndorf. A statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the southwest corner of the park was added in 1986.

Wow, sounds like a pretty cool place. American history has always interested me in a "wow, that's kind of cool and silly at the same time" sort of way.

Oh for sure. Definitely still taking orders. Take all the time you need and get back to me.

But what I'm actually is a smash series of drawings that will be for sale this coming Apex. Much similar to what was done last year but I'll be selling prints of all of my finest work.

I've already have about 10 drawings done that need color and will be continuing to draw more characters, even requested ones....

Legends.

I wonder if it's Ken.
When I saw this, I'm like "wait Ken?"

Then I clicked the AIB link and read.

And I thought, "Wow, I wish I was in time to say 'inb4ken' ".

But yeah, "mysterious legendary players returning"? Screams Ken. Although I bet there are other good candidates I've never heard of.
