Okay so the first page hasn't been updated with any new info and I have failed at keeping up with this thread. Now that it is 8 pages long, can someone update me on what's going on? Are we doing online registration? Will it be two days long? How will the seeding thing work? Sorry for so many crappy questions...

We are doing four different 32-man brackets. All brackets are double elimination. Top 8 in each bracket move on to final 32-man bracket. This final bracket will also be double elim. Above is as Fenrir has dictated. The votes for the money split has been pushed aside for the time being, but it looked something like this:

35/15/10/5/2.5/2.5- 12*
40/20/10 - 6**
50/15/5 - 0

*First-35%, Second-15%, Third-10%, 4th-5%, 5th-5% split between two people.
**First-40%, Second-20%, Third-10%

This post was around 3 days ago. There's been a few votes since then, one or two more for 40/20/10. And maybe two or three more votes for the 35/15/10/5/2.5/2.5... The was some discussion on what happens with attendance issues, i.e. changing the format of the pot split depending on the turnout. It got a little complicated there. But as I said before, noone has really formally done anything about this is a few days.

Are we doing online registration?

I have no friggin' clue. Noone has said anything in a while about that.

Will it be two days long?

So far, it's only going to be Saturday the 17th.

How will the seeding thing work? Sorry for so many crappy questions...

Seeding is on this page (16) and the previous page (or two). Seeding for the 4 brackets hasn't really been discussed in detail. But I'm assuming that there will be as even a distribution as possible given the seeding ranks shown in this thread.

Seibrik's tournament combined with Summer Term @ UCF may bring the attendance down. Sooooo yeeaaa all this could be for nothing. And we'll just end up having ~100 instead of 130+...

If i'm in error about any of the above, somebody will yell at me. But I'm fairly certain this is how it's going down so far.

I hope this sums everything up for the past few days...

and paying out to 4 spots (can't remember the split...and I'm too lazy to look) if fewer than 90 people
