Holy crap! Low tier ftw!!!!!

also, no seedings? hmm...alright. just have to split up a LOT of people then...

keep in mind the people that usually place around the top 5 or 7 mark, and keep them separated. Add Exarch to that if he's not there, he's used Roy any time he hasn't beasted a tourney, and a couple times he did. o.O

Basically, Don't Blink, Fenrir, DF, Exarch, Law, Hozart, Derf, A-L, Vijin and a few more...should all be dispersed away as possible from each other.

I'll definitely be doing the low tier one and maybe the regular singles...I like a guaranteed 4 matches instead of my normal 2 before I have to leave :p

Doesn't really matter to me... Either or would be great.

Also, from what I know Low Tier tournaments usually cost significantly less than the normal tournament, because most people aren't very serious about them. You might want to consider lowering the entrance fee to like $5..

Course then Gigabits gets less money, and so will the winners... but i guess just see general opinion. No one seems to have a problem with $10 entrance.

I should be at this one, unless my family decides to go to Busch Gardens at the last minute or something.

low tier tourney sounds fun
but when i think about it the results will probably be the same..DFs bowser and Fenrirs Link/Zelda for 1st and 2nd..... thats just my prediction, We got so many good low tier ppl anyway.

You should bring down the admission for the low tier tourney we alredy gotta pay for singles and doubles

Low-tier tournament...****, Ice Climbers used to count as low tier...2 years ago. Regardless, I'll participate, and probably get knocked about by Dark Falchion's Bowser, Derf's Luigi, Angry Lobster Ness/Young Link, Exarch's Roy, thebettaplaya's Ness, so on and so forth.

My Link or Zelda hasn't been mentioned? : (
I agree, A-L is sexier than I am, though, and should win the tournament....

so anyways, this looks really cool.

Low tier doubles does sound quite fun, but doing all 4 tourneys could get quite expensive. TBP we have to do Ness/Pika if theres a low tier doubles tourney.

I don't know if I can make this yet, but I agree that the low tier tourney's price should be lowered...

Hooray for playing Fox!
He's Low tier, right?
I hope to be there, no guarantees yet.

um...I'm starting to wonder about time for this tourney...

I mean, if team low tier makes it in, (which would be amazing, mind you), that'll be 4 tourneys in one day? idk...we'd just have to be VERY strict in the time management area to make it work...

It's not that I don't want all 4...I really, really do. I'm just not really wanting to be there till obscene hours of the morning...

i'd say if time restraints are owning us, lets just try and sneak the 1v1 low tier tourney in between normal doubles and singles. Hopefully we'll have time for all 4 though.

hey mwarhead. have you thought about doing pools for the tournaments instead of just seeding points. For singles at least. I mean you have the regulars:

DF, Exarch, Fenrir, Derf, Hozart, Law, DB, D21, Dop, TBP, Bo!, SheerMadness, Skrach, OTRU, RIP, XYZ, RFX, AngryLobster, Vijin, Hiroshi, Vericz, UUAA, Zoro, some others, then random noobs.

If you get a good number of pools and seperate all of the good people mentioned above, the noobs are happy cuz they get to play each other and the brackets are alot different. Crews members wont play each other and the brackets wont be the same.
I think pools are going to be so much better. This would also help with the out-of-towners.

You take two people of different crews and put them into one pool and fill the rest up with noobs. That way the noobs get to play more then two rounds but they still get filtered out. Though it will take longer, it would be a better tournament just a thought.
