So the switch is getting bluetooth but it literally doesn’t work when you’re using online?

literally why? I understand why they wouldn’t put bluetooth functionality on their systems in 2017 but how is it that it when they add it it somehow disrupts internet??? I can go online with bluetooth headphones connected just fine on phones. It’s just really stupid.

there’s also the controller limit thing which is weird. I realize probably no one is gonna use like four controllers and bluetooth earphones at the same time but it’s still weird that it can’t happen.

MK8 Deluxe and MK Live are more than enough to hold us over until mario kart 9 hypothetically releases on the next console, but I would still be open to getting a spinoff or something before the next game. Honestly, I don’t really like the idea of mario kart 9 releasing on switch.

I dislike the trope in smash moveset making where the side special is just any random car a character has driven. Like it works some of the time but it’s mostly just not very fitting with the character and the playstyle of the rest of the moveset.

I feel like the illusion that the pandemic is “over” is what ended up making it a lot worse than it ever was before in some places. People just got more lax with restrictions and lots of people didn’t wear masks because they thought the pandemic was done, but that was too early and we’re starting to see it get worse.

I feel like the fraymakers characters were selected more for variety and unique movesets rather than importance or even quality of games (not saying the games they’re from are bad tho lol)

Like we already have a grappler, a zoner someone who attacks primarily by spiking, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that they’re all so unique and different

I have a theory that the “are you still watching” thing netflix does is so that you’ll be slightly annoyed and want to talk about it with other people, thus giving netlix more publicity. Since something so trivial wouldn’t be a deal breaker for most, some people might actually want to try netlix because everyone’s talking about it.

also if you really were in another room or something and accidentally left it on, wouldn’t that message make the situation a lot worse because it might burn into your TV screen?

Oh my god the marvel what if zombies episode was really disappointing.

The pace was just bad and shows how the one episode format isn't really working for the series. We barely get any time to be with these new versions of the characters and we barely know what the world is like, and what people truly think about it.

Speaking of the characters, they're just really obnoxious in this episode, especially ant-man and spider-man, dear god I hope they never use those versions of the characters. Antman is so unbelievably unfunny here and spider-man's voice could have worked but since it sounds so different it just doesn't work. Not to mention characters look pretty different to their designs in the movies and so sometimes it was even a bit hard to reconize them. T'challa's voice was pretty good though so it's good that boseman's final(?) performance wasn't something too bad.

Also, it's really weird that all these characters just work together so easily. They're all so different personality-wise and from such different parts of the MCU. Plus some of them haven't even met each other before! You're telling me there wouldn't be some kind of disagreement or disconnect between them all?

It was all just so rushed and I wish it wasn't done like this. It's also really weird how it's kind of short compared to the other episodes.

It kind of annoys me when people’s fan theories are entirely dependent on genetics. AHEM matpat AHEM. Like if genetics and punnet squares support your theory then it’s good to bring them up but using them as a sole reason to believe “[character] is actually [character]’s dad!” with literally no other evidence, then it’s a bad theory. You do realize it is physically possible for recessive genes to be added to a child right?

so when a certain youtuber’s certain infamous theory about a certain plumber and a certain space princess makes a really outrageous claim that would completely change the entire series (luigi being in love with peach) and the only evidence they have is “it’s technically more likely to happen genetically” it’s a terrible theory

My list of “characters a lot of people want in smash but I really don’t” is something like this:
Porky, Masked Man, Pyramid Head, Bandana Dee and Toad. (there are probably more as well.)

The first three are because of tonal issues and the last two are because they feel like boring and uninteresting characters when there are so many other good picks for characters from their series that would represent them better.

Adding all four ninja turtles to nick all star brawl would be very uninteresting to me. Just because they’re the main characters doesn’t mean adding all four would represent the series best.

As an example, imagine if soul calibur 4 added luke skywalker and han solo as guest characters instead of darth vader and yoda. It would be a lot less interesting right?

I don’t get why people get angry when crossovers add non-main characters or characters that aren’t as “important” in the context of the story. I think crossovers don’t add enough of those characters and, in a very few situations, this goes for smash as well.

Okay I'm sorry, the idea that white kids aren't "allowed" to dress as black panther for halloween or something is cringe. It's just stupid. If black panther's suit was pretty much just an african cultural outfit then we can have a conversation but there's nothing problematic about a kid wearing a costume of a black superhero they look up to. I know his suit likely has inspiration from african cultures, but I don't think that makes it bad.
