At the end of the day most of my problems with spider man 2 were the same ones I had with Tears of the Kingdom because like, it adds just barely enough new stuff to make the first run really really fun, but I cannot imagine replaying the sequel whereas I could go back to the first game any time at all.

Spider-Man 2 does get extra points for making the swinging way more fun, but I'm talking about which game I would go back for a full playthrough of, not which game I'd go back to just to eff around.

I want more Sonic storybook games so bad

I feel like since they're mostly visual/spectacle based, and any "challenge" they try and make ends up falling on its face (cause on-rails sonic just kinda doesn't work), you could bring them back for mobile devices and they would bang.

Clearly they want to make games where the player feels cool regardless of skill level (read: sonic forces) so just making another linear autorun platformer sounds like a great way to do that.

I had a dream where I was playing a psychological horror game where the mama penguin from Mario 64 lead you through a canyon and told you about her extremely depressing life story the whole time, no gameplay apart from walking behind her with the left stick. Her flipper dragged along the wall of the canyon and left some kind of red paint behind (was not blood) and you could also see a red line of paint following the same path but much shorter, implied to be the kid that Mario tossed off the cliff. I don't think Mama Penguin was the villain though, she's just sad, and I think she brought you to the canyon to hide you from the actual threat of the game.

Genuinely more unnerving than any actual psychological horror i've seen or played.
