Replaying Ocarina of Time 3D right now. Realizing that the reason I was stuck in Zora's Domain for so long as a kid is because when you find Princess Ruto's letter, it says "Come save me, I'm inside Jabu Jabu's belly. Please don't tell my father." So I didn't, I tried all sorts of crazy things to sneak around her dad. You're actually supposed to rat out your friend in order to advance the story.

Back on my Sonic Generations arc. This game just feels very good to move around in compared to most stuff before or after. My only criticism on the controls is that I wish it was easier to know how fast your spindash charge will go.

You know what's weird? Parents insist that the mall santas are the real Santa's helpers, but when it comes to Disneyworld, no, that is the real Mickey Mouse. You didn't just arm wrestle with one of Gaston's lackeys, that was the actual Gaston from the movie.

That would make sense if these characters were treated like real celebrities - kinda like the Muppets - but no, if Mickey Mouse is ever brought up outside the context of Disney then everyone above the age of 5 or 6 knows he's a cartoon. Why does that change for Disneyworld?

There are some plot holes here but i still think how we treat licensed characters and sports mascots versus how we treat santa claus is weird

TIL that high-fucntioning autism means when you are able to do daily tasks well (eating and bathing and stuff), and low-functioning autism means you have severe difficulty or can't do those. Which really surprised me, because I thought it was the opposite. Like, I thought it meant the autism was high-functioning, not the individual. So to everyone who I've told I have low-functioning autism...uh, forget about that.

Quarantine has had a really negative effect on my education after the fact. Pretty much every single thing we do anymore is on our laptops - my math class is the last one where I have to use a pencil. So that 4 or so hours looking at my laptop, combined with the 3-5 hours of leisure time I'll have at home, and the hour or so I'm on my phone in the in-between periods (lunch line, class change, etc)...it's really exhausting and I'm hardly doing anything. Maybe I would feel more energized if I had taken tougher classes, but it is what it is.

Question for my college-goers here in the profile posts. How often do you guys have to use screens for classes?

Does anyone else feel that social media feeds just show you a type of content MORE if you say "Not Interested?" YouTube and Instagram particularly. If I had to guess, they want your attention for ads no matter what, so they'll engage you however they can, negatively or positively.

I could be completely wrong, I just have never noticed the Not Interested button ever working on any website.
