What I wouldn't give to watch the Minecraft movie as someone who does not know what a video game is.
I do not get why Sega got off the hook so easily, if not were outright praised, for their weird handling of Sonic Generations' delisting. They somehow managed to go below the bare minimum while having the original game (technically) avaliable to purchase at the same time? It's like greenwashing for preservation.

If Glass Joe was to get in Smash, he should be a combo BEAST - you play as him and you say "Oh, he's a boxer, but he's really weak! His forward smash only does 7 damage charged, and he's barely as much as slapping! How unexpected!" but once you start playing him in a way you wouldn't play a boxer, he can really shine, kinda like how Punch-Out Wii implies he lives a quite luxiourous life outside of boxing. That being said, I think it would only really work in a Smash game designed in a way that casual players can easily KO using combos as well as stray smash attacks.
I don't think Game Awards nominating DLC is a good idea necessarily, not because of the "second chance"/"SpongeBob at the KCAs" factor, but more just because DLC will be utterly dominated compared to if it was to have its own category. This isn't like Best Animated Film where it's a medium that can be used as effectively or ineffectively as another, this is more like a different type of product with its own very glaring strengths and limitations, I'd say it's closer to comparing short films to feature length films - especially when you add on the extra trouble of whether you count the existing assets and gameplay the DLC is designed around as part of it or not.
The Toy Story 5 concept art reminds me how AI will always clone characters and make them ominously march towards the screen like Pikmin. That has to be my favourite Mysterious AI Quirk That Should Never Be Patched Out.
