I know COGH is old news, but I still think we don't talk enough about how SSBU (or at least its US localisation) has literal by-dictionary-definition historical revisionism in it. (that being the Tips omitting references to CD-i and PC games when they should be mentioned as the true holders of the "fun fact" titles)

I'm not trying to attribute malice or opportunism here, and I am likely biased or subconciously trying to find things to take fault in as someone who thinks this character is the only really good character choice of its series thus far, but asking for Jigglypuff to be cut in the Smash game released immediately after his VA died is not a good look.

I find it weirdly funny that the character in the Alberquerque music video is called "Miracle Machine". Someone drew a Homestar Runner fusion of Fry Futurama and Earthworm Jim, gave him Weird Al's voice, and decided to give him a dark-biblical fantasy golem name.

Years later and I stand by it: "Scrimblo" is legitimately useful terminology. "Mascot" implies privelege that rarely exists, and "cartoony character" is far too long and argually encompases some characters who exist a little too far away in the style spectrum (would a human Disney renaissance character count as "cartoony"? They're not a scrimblo either way.)
