Unless there’s concrete proof Palworld actually stole assets from Pokemon or something similar, it seems extremely unlikely Nintendo would actually succeed in suing them. There’s a lot of really big public cases about video games with similar circumstances (Capcom vs Data East being a good example) and the precedent has basically always been against tue companies doing the suing for alleged copyright infringement.

argonaut games developed the catwoman video game what the hell
The game awards category for games for impact is such a joke. It's genuinely shocking and offensive they're still making "societal impact" into a competitve awards category and people are mostly okay with it. It's implicitly saying "oh sorry your game about the impacts of the iranian revolution just barely loses out to this game about cancer because it has more societal benefit." for example.
There's also the discussion about how basically just indie games get nominated, which suggests AAA games aren't able to have positive societal implications or be about politics at all.
I really like when a video game character has a flashback to a previous game and it’s clearly in a way worse visual style from lesser hardware
Capcom making us wait nearly two months for the marvel vs capcom physical collection and not even having a physical disc/cartridge in all regions is crazy
On the subject of my last post, I’m a good way into final fantasy 5 and I take back everything negative I’ve ever said about RPG job systems it clicks so much better here than other games I played with the system.
This might actually be my favorite of the classic FF games
I see a lot of people praising the humour and comedy of super mario RPG which is cool but I think it’s kind of disappointing they don’t really mention the influence final fantasy 5 and chono trigger had on that aspect of the game, especially with the physicality of the comedy.
You know what? Shoutout to characters who are basically only in a crossover fighting game because they’re an easy clone character for someone else. I will stand by the fact that Dr Mario and Nubia are good additions to their respective games.

So I just found out Harmonix developed the rhythm game part of Fortnite and it just feels surreal knowing that Guitar Hero and Rock Band were on top of the world for so long. Like imagine if Minecraft had a significant drop off before being acquired by Microsoft and now Mojang only exists to develop a “block builder” mode for idk sea of thieves or something
Yakuza Dead Souls is probably the only zombie apocalypse story where someone grabs a tank and blows a giant hole in the quarantine, potentially risking everyone getting infested and once the military immediately questions him he says “yeah some people were trapped in there” and then they reply “ok fair enough you did what you have to do”

I recorded Marvel vs Capcom 2 gameplay footage for a video I made but I accidentally left the microphone on, meaning it recorded the podcast I had on in the back. I now have extremely surreal footage of Marvel vs Capcom 2 playing with quiet, garbled audio and the sound of people discussing the lost cause myth in the back

Finally watched Batman Mask of the Phantasm and man that one joker on the phone meme really doesn’t convey what the actual joke of the scene was. I don’t know why this is my main takeaway.

The idea of a platform fighter having multiple levels of super is probably the most interesting design choice of PlayStation all stars battle royale except the reason they emphasized super meter so much was in service of a really awful game mechanic

I really want to make a video about video games based on live action anime adaptations because it’s such an incredibly specific topic that touches both on ****ty shovelware of the Wii era and ****ty movies of the same era. The problem is that I can only think of two of such games (Dragon Ball Evolution and Speed Racer) and I want a third example for a more substantial video. That means I might need to call Avatar an anime to come up with a third example oh no -
