One incident from the NASB thread I've mentioned a few times is that it was believed by some that NASB2 was hiding 11 characters away from playtesters.

Turns out they believed that because MultiVersus did that before it was revealed.

One of my favourite things about British pop culture is how almost all of it takes place in oddly specific real-world towns. Robin Hood is from Nottingham, the Wombles are from Wimbledon, Wallace and Gromit are from Wigan, Mr. Bean is from Highbury, Fawlty Towers is in Torquay. In American media, it's usually either NYC/Manhattan/Chicago, or a made-up town with a 50/50 chance of a definitive state.

Guys, guys, GUYS. I just realised something.

Uncle Gus from Top 10 Lost Media Solved By Reddit #2 is elegible for Smash. The pliot was literally voted out in the horrifying prototype for Minecraft Mob Votes (oh wait i just realised that's a pun lmao), and became one of the top 10 lost media solved by Reddit Two, but everyone played the Cartoon Cartoon Fridays Summer Resort game with Uncle Gus in it.

this is a joke post. do not actually put uncle gus from top 10 lost media solved by reddit two in smash. even as someone who loves weirdo picks and blurring the lines between game and non-game characters, it would suck even in the moment.

I want to question why NASB2 decided the equivalent to the Hammer theme should be supermarket music, but then again, the Hammer theme being 80s 8-bit music is probably confusing if you're not clued in on the Donkey Kong Lore.

I'm going to headcanon that it is a reference to how the UK feed of Nickelodeon would air teleshopping at night because they're not legally allowed to show George Lopez.

I just realised Kuru Kuru Kururin is technically an N64-era game and not a GameCube-era game, even if only by a few months, and usually this sort of thing breaks my mind - I've said it before - but that makes perfect sense actually. Look at this permanent marker dialogue font, that's as N64 as it gets.

The cartoonier-than-a-cartoon "boing" sound effect from the springs and the cinema floor win screen stars should've been dead giveaways this game was developed in the 90s too.

I don't believe in "scandal speculation", I think it's wrong and weird, but it was so obvious that Mr. Beast had shady dealings going on, the evidence was literally just the basic concept of his content - if he actually meant well, he either wouldn't have the money to do all these crazy stunts because he'd just throw it all at a bunch of charities at once, or would just buy a yacht and mind his own business. At most his stunts would just be direct camera videos with no editing to ensure as little money is wasted on non-charity affairs as possible. He's like the most plainly obvious 2010s kids movie twist villain. Evil Richard Ayoade guinea pig from The Bad Guys.

Reading up the Sacred GameCubeTM Texts and 1. the vision of Reggie Fils Aime hyping up

I've been adding tons of undocumented games to IGDB, which is naturally mostly promotional flash games, and something I found out is that IGDB doesn't have pages for the non-character Smash DLC aside from a very small selection of Ultimate's Mii Costumes, so I've added the 3DS/Wii U stage DLC, and it'll be very funny when they show up on my Backloggd list alongside "Which One of SpongeBob's Front Teeth Are You?" and "Scrat's Cheestrings Meltdown".
