I feel mixed about the idea of Franziska in Tatsunoko vs Capcom. She’s a good character and all but only taking one character from ace attorney in particular because they have a weapon is lame.

I finally started playing Final Fantasy IV. This game is a lot more polished than previous entries but requiring magic to see the map is insane.
I feel like a lot of American cities are way smaller than you’d expect. I wouldn’t guess that Miami has like 100,000 more people than the city I live in that feels so small for how well known it is.
Very funny to see people say "deadpool and wolverine is so succesful because its not woke!" when it feels like it has more gay sex jokes than goodfellas has f bombs
90% of the time when an anime character is really annoying or acts out of character, it was a thing the anime adaptation just decided to add for no reason
People make the jokes about kids not wanting to use buff/debuff moves in Pokemon but let’s be real. You get access to four moves and most battles are over so quickly it doesn’t feel useful to use any of them.
now’s the part where someone posts a paragraph about how competitive pokemon disproves everything I just said as if that had anything to do with my point
I tried to use a guitar hero microphone instead of a normal one to record a video and unexpectedly it was terrible quality. For some reason I didn’t come to my senses about it until I recorded everything tho

I just watched the strange aeons video on dashcon. It’s so refreshing to see it because I now feel like I’ve been lied to about that so hard about what dashcon actually is from stuff like the internet historian video. It looks like an organizational **** show and a terrible con for sure but so many people exaggerated it to a ridiculous degree because they see young people having fun as part of the problem.

I just realized there were new tony hawk games yearly until like 2010 that just feels weird man
I finally beat Streets of Rage 2. For months this the arcade style game I’d play on my switch and try to beat every time I was bored late at night and couldn’t sleep. Now Radiant Silvergun is the sole full time occupant of that role and also maybe I’ll finally buy streets of rage 4 now.

Pokemon discourse really is one of the most frustrating and unnecessary toxic things ever, huh? Literally nothing good has ever come from even glancing at it for me
My proudest moment was when the official Sega instagram account liked my comment. They posted some fanart with all their characters and in one corner the bonanza bros were upset someone was stealing their fries. I posted “oh so the bank robbers get mad something of theirs was stolen” and they liked it.
A character from shadow hearts might actually be a cool pick for a guest character in a future KoF game considering SNK's history with the series
Continuing off my post a while ago about the NES, Genesis, and PS1 having very distinct early eras, I think they each have a few games each that can be considered where the early eras end because of how influential they were for it's future games: Super Mario Bros and Ghosts n Goblins for the NES, Sonic for the Genesis, and Resident Evil, Tomb Raider and FF7 for the PS1.
Why is Vivi so heavily requested for Smash? I like him but he's kinda just a random party member in FF9 which is a cult classic but one of the lesser influential and well selling titles.
I genuinely think a lot of it might come from people who aren't that familiar with Final Fantasy and assume Vivi is the name of the black mage in FF1 because I've seen a lot of people say "Black Mage/Vivi should be in Smash!"
I doubt anyone would be able to guess what my pfp is supposed to be even if they knew what it was from but I feel like being gatekeep-y so if you want it, now you just have to find it

The PS1 focused so much on 3D graphics and neglected 2D games that it just ended up looking kind of embarrassing for it when an arcade fighting game or SNES RPG runs so terribly on it

I really like it when a character from a piece of media considered bad comes back as a cameo and actually gets respect from the narrative instead of just being treated like a joke. Bonus points if they can actually continue their character arc.
I guess Deadpool and Wolverine kinda counts as this even though most of the cameos die and they do get hit with that Deadpool humour a lot.
Before I actually knew what the roster was I assumed Samsho 2019 had more The Last Blade characters in it
I don’t think it’s healthy for me that every time I go on Twitter or Instagram I find at least three of the most insane people I’ve ever seen
I’m replaying shadow of the colossus on PS2 and it’s made me resentful to the Bluepoint remake. It’s a beautiful remake but something about the visual style (like the lack of overly bright saturation which I find was the biggest complaint) makes it so that I no longer get an impression the world is a barren land at the edge of the world. It just feels like… a normal place that happens to not have anyone but colossi in it.

I bought a Sega Genesis. No games for it yet but I swear I need to own Streets of Rage 2 on this.
The NES, Sega Genesis and PS1 are the consoles with the most interesting beginning years to me, just because they were so distinct from everything else associated with the console and mostly relied on arcade ports -
