Oof yea that MGS3 remake trailer didn’t look good to me at all. A lot of the original’s interesting visual style and atmosphere seems lost in favor of realism and I’m not a fan. Most of what was shown off were 1 to 1 recreations of set pieces from the original so I hope it’s not just a 20 year old game with slight gameplay improvements and the atmosphere is way worse.
The Boss also looks way too youthful, this and Tekken 8 have cemented the theory in my mind that modern video game developers can’t make female characters faces look anything above 30.

I’ve complained about not liking switchable RPG job systems that much but I think Final Fantasy 3 (the game that basically originated this concept) actually has a really smart way of having you try out some other jobs early on

As a kid I went to Callaway Park a few times which is a theme park that used to be Flintstones themed but isn’t anymore (it was un-themed long before I went there). To this day the thing I remember the most is the fact that a bunch of buildings were made out of retro-styled differently coloured stone and I had no idea why as a kid but found it cool anyways.
It also gave me nostalgia for the 90s flintstones movies even though I never actually saw them as a kid.
I like that the new Yakuza show is being called “Like A Dragon: Yakuza.” It just seems funny when there’s a game called Yakuza: Like A Dragon
