one of my favorite things to do in melee is to wavedash backwards off of a platform, hold shield while sliding off, and watching my character go into tumble and fall on the ground face down

mario party 3 had some pretty brutal minigames, damn
last night i had a dream where i played mario kart double dash for the first time in years
turns out i unlocked a new mode called "tournament" and decided to check it out
it was actually a whole ass 3d fighter. with all the characters selectable from the base game, with professor e gadd also in there shockingly enough
it played EXACTLY like tekken. wavedashing, korean backdashing, throw breaks, EVERYTHING. also e gadd played like a mishima and had a move called "Electric Wind Doc Fist", which is probably the funniest joke my brain has ever produced in years

i had a cool dream last night (kinda)
everything was like. completely normal. except i could turn into an eagle and fly. apparently i flew to virginia, and the great wall of china was there too for some reason. while i was human i met a woman who could also turn into an eagle and we both started flying and it was so cool and then after that, paragliders crashed into us and they took us to court and then the dream sucked after that

had a weird smash bros dream
basically, i was playing smash 4 on the wii u, and everything was normal, right until i was unlocking special moves for king dedede
for some reason, kind dedede's default side special was replaced with just. mario's fludd. it had a lot of different options for it too, way more than usual. the ones i remember are Bouncy Water (contact with fludd's water makes the opponent bounce upward into the air, more range), needle water (fludd shoots out ice needles, it's basically just slow and terrible sheik needles), and for some reason, "Stone Smash", which was actually king dedede taking out a pokeball and summoning ludicolo out of it
but THIS ludicolo actually had his hands replaced with GIANT ASS BOULDERS and what he did was smash the boulders together and cave in the opponents skull and instantly take their stock
oh also he had the right back at ya voice
thats all i remember from it tho
fighting games are so fun when you dont have a ***** yelling in your ear about how "poorly balanced" or "beginner unfriendly" they are
the youtube commentary community thing was such a huge waste of time and im glad no one does that anymore
people who were into that could've done something productive like lets plays or something but instead they made videos about how XX_ScrungusRevenge69_XX was mean to them on deviantart while they had a slideshow of screenshots of edward elric from fullmetal alchemist going on
