Just wondering: if Ash was allowed to catch a Legendary Pokémon in each region, which one should be catch? My list:

-Kanto: Any of the Legendary Birds
-Johto: Ho-Oh
-Hoenn: Latias
-Sinnoh: Azelf
-Unova: Zekrom, Meloetta
-Kalos: Xerneas
-Alola: Solgaleo
-Galar: Zacian

Okay, so…the Forbidden Seven. A group of code names with leftover data implying seven characters cut from Brawl.

"pra_mai", commonly theorized to be Plusle and Minun from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. However, the name also means “every player”, so it could’ve also been a name for Miis (which were considered for Brawl but ultimately dropped) or the RANDOM button on the CSS.
"mewtwo", "roy" and "dr_mario", definitely known to be three characters who were planned to return from Melee, but were dropped due to time constraints. It should be noted that Mewtwo and Roy’s data put together includes unused victory themes and a Wii Remote sound.
"toon_zelda" and "toon_sheik", commonly theorized to either be Tetra or simple Toon versions of Zelda and Sheik.
"dixie", last name Kong. According to Sakurai, Dixie and Diddy were supposed to be another tag team like the Ice Climbers, but this was dropped because of technical issues and Diddy became a solo fighter.

After mulling over the Forbidden Seven most recently, I then thought to myself “what if all of these characters managed to make it into Brawl?” Keep in mind that these are my ideas and they do not reflect those of other people.

Mewtwo, Roy and Dr. Mario would of course return, since they’re veterans (and in the latter two’s case, they’d be even easier to develop since they’re clones)
Dixie Kong would also be a solo fighter and a semi-clone of Diddy
”pra_mai”: I was thinking it should be Plusle and Minun as spiritual successors to Pichu’s moveset (minus recoil, obviously) and a tag team character
”toon_zelda” and “toon_sheik”: Honestly? I’d say just put your best foot forward and make Tetra a fighter with a fully unique moveset

This is going to sound crazy but I think if Eevee was a playable Smash fighter, it should just...be a simple fighter with Extreme Evoboost as its Final Smash. That way, you can use the other Eeveelutions without having to over-complicate Eevee's moveset. Besides, with it having become a secondary mascot for Pokemon as a whole alongside Pikachu, keeping its moveset relatively simple is more likely to win over people who love Pokemon but haven't played a Smash game before.

I really think Mario Odyssey, as fantastic as it is on its own, kind of under-utilized the idea of DLC. So I decided to make a 3-season DLC expansion pass.

When people unironically suggest that Ring Fit Trainee would be a Wii Fit Trainer Echo, it tells me that they either didn’t play the game or, even if they did, still only look at the “Fit” part of the name and didn’t look at Ring Fit Adventure’s gameplay beyond that. Cause Wii Fit and Ring Fit are totally different games despite both being first party games with peripherals for exercise.

I’ve said things like this before, but I feel like Smash doesn’t fully utilize the idea of representing 3rd party franchises by means other than a playable character. What I mean is, 3rd party franchises without playable characters but still have content like stages, songs, Assist Trophies, etc.

Monster Hunter in Ultimate is the best example of this, featuring Rathalos both a boss AND an Assist Trophy, as well as a few songs and Spirits. A step in the right direction when you consider all the other 3rd party content in the game, but I still feel like it could go beyond that (among what’s feasible, anyway).

You guys know how SSE has alternate cutscenes depending on which character you picked, right? What if there were also alternate levels and other alterations depending on your choices? For example, let’s say if you picked Mario from for the first battle at Midair Stadium, you’d fight Petey Piranha as him and Zelda joined him after the battle.

I had another thought: how would you guys feel if the FE lineup in Smash was this?
1. Marth (64, along with the other three cut characters Bowser, Dedede and Mewtwo; moveset remains the same)
2. Lyn (Brawl; moveset involves a mix of sword and bow attacks)
3. Ike (Brawl; moveset is mostly the same, but with Urvan for the Smash attacks)
4. Chrom (Sm4sh; uses a mix of sword and lance attacks. Lucina is also an alt.)
5. Azura (Sm4sh as DLC; primarily uses a lance, but also incorporates dancing and water bending)
6. Byleth (Ultimate; moveset remains the same)
