If Smick ever appears in Smash in any form, it should be the You Cannot Beat Us version - I'm not saying this to be wacky, I'm not saying this because I like the idea of commercial/multimedia rep: that is legitimately the most iconic, recognisable iteration of the character. Also the beak + tri-teeth combination is very aesthetically pleasing in a weird way

I remember reading once that Pepsiman is really popular in Brazil because of PS1 piracy, and that Smash Remix is really popular there as well (probably for similar reasons), so that makes it extra cool that they added a Pepsiman skin for Dragon King.

You know how Mario Party gives each combination of 2 characters their own team name? I'm making that for Smash (or more specifically my Ultimate sequel roster), just for 1v1 duels instead of teams, sorta like episode titles - probably won't finish it, but I absolutely need to say one idea that is so good I cannot waste it if I scrap this idea.

Of all the game mascots that are actually mascots, Wonder Dog is easily the most bizarre, because 1. they put him in a disc tray cleaning CD and midi playback software and 2. he was the mascot of the X'Eye. I don't even know what an X'Eye is.

I can't speak on the AI voice or asset flip allegations, but I really don't buy that Infestation 88 is a Nazi game or whatever. The number 8 looks like mouse ears, the game takes place in the 80s (which is a really popular time period for horror in general), and gas is used to kill mice. I don't blame anyone for having their alarms raised by the 88/gas combination, but 99.9% most likely is just a very unfortunate coincidence.

I think it would actually be really fun to make a Smash mod that changes every character's moveset to excessive references under one condition: EVERYONE'S archetype is changed. Virtually an all-new game. Like Garfield NASB 2 transitions for everyone. Unconditionally, even characters like Marth/Falcon/Jigglypuff who's Smash incarnations are synonymous with Smash, and characters like Steve, Ryu and Villager who have virtually everything they can do in their movesets - obviously using some real two-flickies logic. Fox is a zoner now with all the arwing's lasers and bombs. swordie Mario attacking with all his hats. Pure-rushdown DK chasing everyone around with Barrel Cannons.

Combo Devils' gameplay looks awesome, I will pick it up if I get a laptop that can run it or it releases on Switch, love the idea of a skateboarding fighter especially, buuuuuuuuut the character designs have once again fallen into "not-a-crossover crossover" syndrome - not as egregious as Flash Party though, at least all the humans look like they're from the same universe with the furries as outliers, but still
