Oh god, I think I've found the worst Sakurai take, worse than "corporations are your friends", "I don't make games because I enjoy making them", and "I didn't want Dolby surround because contract-enforced credit is lame".
This is outright dangerous... yikes. He does handwave the potential Very Very Very Bad Reading with a "well, you shouldn't go through unneccesary hardship BUT", but that should've been half of the crux, not a random sentence in the middle of the video.

I have seen some people saying the new Bubsy voice doesn't really sound like him, and I do agree, it's a pretty poor direction for a bombastic and wacky character, but I also get what they're going for - it's a take on the CEOTFK voice, but most people associate Bubsy with either the reboot or cartoon/2/FFT voice - that being said, this trailer did get the Bubsy vibe better than the reboot games did, making him the butt of the joke in the Donald/Daffy Duck sense and not the Scrappy-Doo sense.
As I get older and less cynical, I feel like I've really come to appreciate "power of friendship" and other such "conveniences" as storytelling devices.

I had a nightmare where there was a neo-fascist group with an X for a logo (albeit with an accent), and they nuked Twitter HQ (which was in Skovde, Sweden for some reason) for trademark infringement, and caught Dr. Amigo in the crossfire, turning Skovde into the Skovde stage from Slap City - Dr. Amigo getting nuked was such a tragedy that every TV channel in the UK was taken off of the air permanently out of respect. It was actually moreso a sad nightmare than a scary one.

I always found it a bit weird that 2010s-era remakes, compilations, and homages to 80s (and to a lesser extent 90s) games were so filled with dubstep and EDM (Pac-Man Championship Edition for example). I'm not gonna say it's "wrong" or "misunderstands the source material" per say, I think I can understand the thought proccess even, but it does feel very weirdly specific and a little too modern, I don't know any 80s kids (only 90s kids) so I can't say for certain, but I can't help but think that sort of aesthetic would be a bit isolating to the OG fans.
I like how in Rivals of Aether's universe, the quadrupedal animals are just as intelligent as the bipedals.
I don't get why people care about true crime when it's perputrated by Random Joe Schmoe from Mississippi. Like, if it's a celebrity or someone who has otherwise gained actual power like a cult or company, I get it, but when it's like... someone who's life was mostly just making amateur fan comics or working as a cashier, I get equal if not bigger creepy vibes from the cultural fascination than the actual perpetrator (especially doesn't help when people use these individuals as a vehicle for prejudiced rhetoric) -
