It is legit surprising SiIvaGunner is as popular as it is. It's niche inside jokes that aren't really even jokes and, if they are, are references to other niche inside jokes - not to mention that the jokes people will actually get are only used specifically because they've become stale or irrelevant over the years. Add to that that all the videos are about a topic as niche as video game music and you have to wonder how it's lasted for almost half a decade now and spawned multiple "mainstream" memes.
Nickelodeon: has truckloads of great cult classic cartoons that ended before they could truly flourish and find an audience.

Often times I mention how weirded out certain aspects of anime and Japanese media makes me feel - whenever I do the usual response is "pretty weird someone would be turned on by that" when that's the exact opposite of what I'm going for - I can understand all the kinky stuff, different strokes for different folks y'know, I don't understand why you would want to pat a human being's head like a dog in a non-sexual context.

I've been watching a ton of videos about the Simpsons arcade game lately, and all of them include this image which really annoys me to no end because it uses a fan box art for a non-existant SNES port of the arcade game.
I love video game tie ins to cartoons made extremely early in their lifespan and/or with a heavy language barrier and therefore barely representative of their show's current state, like Smithers tossing bombs in The Simpsons arcade game or early SpongeBob games having the mistaken belief Rock Bottom would become a recurring location.
