While I know arcade ports for non-mobile Western games are near-non-existant, it feels a little strange that the Nick Kart Racers games didn't get arcade ports - combine Nicktoons Racing cabinets from 2000 still being an extremely common sight at Chuck E. Cheese with GameMill having a working relationship with Raw Thrills and it seems like the best star-alignment for any console game in the past 15 years to make it to arcades.

Also the spring in this stage really annoys me - they went out of their way to make the spring on Gaur Plain aesthetically fitting, so why not do the same for this stage's spring?

In the UK, we have laws against showing content for adults on children's channels - even post-watershed - so Adult Swim and Nick at Nite have never been things here, especially the latter. Thus, not having the experience of waking up in the middle of the night and seeing both on at the same time, I don't really consider Nick at Nite to be Nick's equivalent to Adult Swim, but rather Comedy Central and MTV.

I think a Dynamite Headdy remake would be super cool so long as they made it a composite of the US and JP versions - keep the boss redesigns and pop culture references from US version, being back the plot and dialogue from the JP version, and find the perfect balance between the two polar-opposite difficulties.

The only characters in NASB I actively feel "this is wrong" about the lack of voice acting for are Zim and Ren & Stimpy (especially the prior of that duo) - three characters known for screaming. Even characters with especially iconic voices like Mikey and Patrick I can ignore the silence of, but if Zim and Ren aren't screaming it certainly comes off as a bit odd.

I've been thinking public domain stuff a lot lately, and I just came up with an idea I really like for Public Domain Pooh, but also wouldn't really be tonally compatible with the sort of games I desire to make:

Pooh as a wise, but not smart, Yoda-like mentor to an action hero - taken almost completely seriously, Pooh would still have his trademark naivity; love for hunny; and fear of Heffalumps, but it wouldn't really play onto the "you didn't expect to see Winnie here!" angle, no Disney or China metajokes. Pooh is a warm figure who's known for making up for foolishness with sheer wisdom; and lacking any sense of hostility, so he would make a reallly good "elderly sage" figure in a fantasy setting - seeming like a fool from a glance, but reeling the hero and their team back when they're about to be driven to drastic measures.

Phineas and Ferb in a Disney platform fighter is a rare case where I feel I'd actually prefer the relatable audience surrogate while everyone else wants to go straight to the more battle-fit side characters. I can't really see what Agent P or Doofenshmirtz would do in a fighting game other than just... being small with powerful attacks, and having laser projectiles respectively. Meanwhile, two kids with a limitless creativity and easy; proficient access to adult building equipment? The moveset is just begging to be written!

I decided to make - wouldn't really call them wishlists (I'm not invested in Multiversus and only have a passing interest in Fraymakers) - moreso "who I'd add if I could" lists - for the major crossover platfighters. I think the main takeaway here is that 1. elders, babies, and snakes are my ideal fighting game characters and 2. I am terrible at graphic design.

Usually other platform fighters are seen as "substitutes" for an official Smash role, but in the case of Sonic people pretty much only want his movie counterpart in NASB because of how poorly he was handled in Brawl. Even though Sonic isn't topping (or even making) the fan polls or anything, he does still come up in discussion a lot more than other non-Nick Paramount properties and I imagine he wouldn't even be considered in passing by the NASB fandom if he weren't already in Smash. (or, of course, treated with more respect there)

I love it when in-universe fictional characters are playable in games based on established IP, not like a guy in a costume or anything, but just... that character exists now. Nobody questions it. I especially like this in crossovers.

I like the idea of having a game character in what is otherwise a cartoon crossover linked only by origin company/brand, but Tak probably shouldn't be in NASB because... kinda... well... his show and games are... racist. No "kinda"s about it, Tak & the Power of Juju was racist. Not maliciously so per say, but certainly a relic best left in the past unless given HEAVY retoolong.

Lincoln Loud in NASB is kinda funny because I only chose to play him out of contrarianism - I have no attachment to his show and his defensive bait-and-punish/turtle playstyle is completely out of place with my stronger & more aggressive bruiser mains (Nigel; Helga; and Ren & Stimpy), but I saw people dissing Lincoln as "lame" and "for zoomers" pre-launch and knew I had to play him from there. Even though I'm terrible with him compared to the other 3 and would probably do better online by switching out his 4th wheel spot for CatDog or Reptar, I find him too fun to quit - his spacing based playstyle allows me to move around a lot, and movement in this game is utterly heavenly, like an ADHD platform fighting sugar rush.
