I don't get why we're still paying £30 for compilations of 4 Mega Drive games. By now we should be able to get 40 PS2 games for that price.
live action 2000s gross out movies with red bold text logos and fat suits (Norbit, Big Momma's House, the bad half of Osmosis Jones) make me uncomfortable - but not in the way they're supposed to, like instead of "ew, that's gross!" I get more of a "I'm not supposed to be watching this" vibe - and when I say that I don't mean "im a babby get the blood and **** words away from me" and more "this footage should not legally be allowed to be distributed".

Crash 2 and 3 are weird games because, if this makes sense, they feel like they don't realise how good they are. Like, the core gameplay of Crash is so good, but 2 and 3 are filled with so many needless bells and whistles that do nothing but bog down the gameplay (collectables, powerups, vehicles, e.t.c.) and feel like they were put in to compensate for something or other. I get the vibe Naughty Dog were embarassed by putting out a game as (seemingly) simple and primative as Crash when the likes of Banjo-Kazooie and Ape Escape were coming out and wanted to try to "compete" with these completely different games.
For some reason people want to view Mario like it's Dragon Ball or Marvel, an epic tale of good and evil in a vast and highly developed world, when really it's a lot more like SpongeBob or Popeye - the rules of the world don't have to be consistent, they can retread old ground as much as they want, and while stories with high stakes are good they're also an outlier (and should stay that way)
I remember seeing someone, might've been on CharacterRant, complain about the whole "Bowser is a good guy after all!" meme with the parental controls video by listing all of Bowser's various atrocities - kinda missing that Bowser isn't Beerus or Lex Luthor, he's Bluto or Plankton: he can be anywhere from a maniacal monarch, to a pathetic pest, to a reluctant ally, to an outright hero - it just runs on whatever's most fun in the context of a given game. Same goes for Wario.
Even before he got confirmed, I was kinda baffled as to why nobody took the idea of Hugh in NASB seriously from a speculation standpoint - characters being added to games because of memes is not an uncommon occurance at all, and if Smash was developed in the West or otherwise had better communication with that audience we probably would've got an actual meme character like Dunsparce (does anyone else remember that from the Brawl days?) or a literal Hat Goomba by now.

I got recommended a video that all the stages in a hypothetical mega crossover cartoon platform fighter - and for some inexplicable reason, the Looney Tunes stage was the photocopy shop from the Looney Tunes Show.
If Smash was to add an echo for each fighter, I feel it'd be necessary for at least a few to be OCs - even if they're as simple in concept as "Dark Yoshi", "Light Ridley", "Ms. Game & Watch" or "Adult Ice Climbers".

I had a dream where I was going to a protest against transphobia - not like a transphobic government or corporation, just the general concept of transphobia - my protest sign said "men can get pregnant too!" and to go along with it I made a dog fursuit with an advanced mechanism to shoot eggs out its ass.

The name "the Penguins of Madagascar" really annoys me because it exclusively makes sense outside of the movie universe - like, if you didn't know about the Madagascar movies it'd be so weird that a cartoon about Arctic animals in a New York zoo claims its protagonists come from Madagascar.
