I haven't been on here in like 10 years, but Snake feels fantastic, and this game has a lot to unpack.

The 2 reps really surprised me as well, considering how popular DK's most recent games are. I really loved Returns and Tropical Freeze.

I feel this same way too, but that'd be my bias because I was a Snake main in Brawl.

I became a pretty big MGS fan after playing Brawl and Snake being my main in that game. I was pretty disappointed with Ike's portrayal in brawl, considering how slow he was and AGI being a top trait of his along with his personality not feeling exactly right to me.

Oh man, Shulk's Up Smash looks inspired by Snake's from Brawl. It'd be pretty badass if when he charges the beam extends higher similar to the mortar.

Things just got interesting.

I haven't really given it much thought but I'm curious as to if anyone else has thought about it, what would Shulk's reveal trailer say if he was in? For example, like when it says LUCINA WAKES HER BLADE?! Maybe that's what is actually holding up the trailer, Sakurai doesn't know what to use for...

Whoa, there is a lot of **** being thrown around in this thread. I just wanna say that I am a supporter and would absolutely love for Snake to return in this game. He's definitely the veteran I want to return the most, and probably just my second character overall I want the most in the game.

Like you said, it's too early to guess. But barring injuries and such it's hard to pick against what you have listed. However, Miami always kicks into another gear later in the season so we'll see where that goes. I do see OKC winning the west, but who they play against is a bit of a toss up...
