  • Wow, Gadiel, your avatar pic is Awesome @__@...

I wish I could find Angelic pictures like that, but I can't find any good ones T__T.
There's smashfests occasionally, but mostly waba every third week of the month. Be sure to hit up that thread I linked you to. They'll answer more questions for you than me lol.
3DS is said to be $300, but they could change it... Don't know if they will or not.

    Goals in smash?
    Hmmmmmmmmmmm...
Well, I don't care that much on placing high tbh. Sure, it's a bonus, but mostly I just play for great competition and hanging out with other people and playing smash. lol To have fun basically.
Yeah, I believe it's even too.
I used to main Oli, but I dropped him because he was kinda boring, and now is my most hated MU. MK being my second.

I don't appreciate wifi much >_>, but lol.

I get presents on both days.
If we end up seeing family over the break(Texas/Mexico), I usually get a lot of money. lol Once I got like $200 from family for my birthday. Spent it quick though, don't know on what. x.x
Now I'm just saving money and stuff. Totally gonna get the 3DS when it comes out, so have to save for that. Right now I have close to $600 in my wallet. :bee: I haven't used money in the past year or so unless it was to enter a tourney.
Yeah. Wifi gives you bad habits. =/

Getting a lot better against Snake. Dat Fl practice. Too good.
Oh, wifi. I remember those days. lol
    Just takes practice dude.

I've never made a thread on SWF before. <_< Or anywhere actually. I sure would like that though. lol
    Hai!
And I would be placing higher if it weren't for Olimars and MKs. >_>
I still do pretty well, but still, haaaaaaaate those MUs.

I don't know what knowledge I could give, but Kyon tells me I should be less anti-social, so I guess I could start posting in the Pit boards now...

    You go to tourneys too?
Players make their character viable. A tier list based on tournament viability would be very much opinion-based, unless someone develops an insane system to calculate that.

If I were to make a tier list right now, it'd go...

    VERY HIGH
    1. MK
    2. Snake
    3. Falco
    4. Pit
    5. Marth

    HIGH
    6. Fox
    7. Wolf
    8. Wario
    9. Diddy Kong
    10. King Dedede
    11. Ice Climbers
    12. Olimar
    13. R.O.B.

    MID
    14. Mr. Game & Watch
    15. Zelda/Sheik
    16. Pikachu
    17. Lucario/Kirby/Peach
    20. Zero Suit Samus
    21. Donkey Kong
    22. Toon Link

    LOW
    23. Ike
    24. Luigi
    25. Mario
    26. Sonic
    27. Pokémon Trainer
    28. Ness
    29. Yoshi
    30. Lucas
    31. Link/Bowser
    33. Ganondorf
    34. Jigglypuff
    35. Samus/Captain Falcon
yea, or at the very least i'm a part of the vVv community now. have you ever checked out their site?

also nice on wolf. dude i dunno what you're doing, but i feel like wolf is never easy to play =/
Yep, what Jawz said. If you're the best member in the Pit boards, everyone agrees to that, and the Pit boards have no mod, then you would be (most probably) chosen as a moderator for the Pit boards.
In order to become a moderator you have to become a good poster. Help out your community (the Pits in this case) and give them guidance in situations.
I think if they want me in at all, it won't matter whether my posts read 300 or 2100. Pierce said something about recommending me and I've A LITTLE credit.

Thanks for the advice though. I don't post nearly as much as everyone else might on here.
Sorry I couldnt find where you was talking about. That pit would be interesting if he worked on his control.
My match-up chart works for 10 minute time limit matches in which the player with highest ground time wins upon time out. So Kirby does well against Falco and stuff like that...
Learning to not get grabbed and knowing Ness more than anyone else you can think of. Do the same for your character and you'll win too.
no i believe the monthly will actually will be this weekend but awa will happen at the same time and will have more people so many people are going to miss out on this monthly. btw the monthlies are always on the third saturday of every month
Haha nah other then that there's really not much to tell. Not really much to say about it. It's a good school though
Yeah that's pretty much it. Brawl is played a lot in the student center but it's usually just casual rules (non-tourney goers) and the sort. The classes are only REALLY challenging if you don't put in the work for them. Otherwise you should be allright
I'm going to a community college and getting my core classes outta the way. Hopefully I'll transfer to NC State University so I can study to be a veterinarian. How about you?
Well... tourneywise I didn't do that hot. I got like 49th out of 148. Um, the only Pit mains there besides me were Sphere and Lolilovesrain, which was disappointing. While playing friendlies I was able to beat Lee Martin, Rich Brown, Scatz, and Nasty but they were just friendlies. I'd like to think that I raised Pit awareness because by the end of the tourney, just about everybody knew of me. Are you going to MLG DC?
Thanks :D It was my first time getting 7th. I'm done with gymnastics for a few months, but i'll be starting again in January. Atlanta sounds cool, how is it?
Yea there are tutors in the student center and stuff.

Yes it's more math related but I don't know by how much.
Civil engineering technology is similar to civil engineer majors but its much more lb oriented and much more going out and doing the work hands on. Very similar degrees but still they have their differences
    O cool.

Yea I'm at SPSU and I am a civil engineering technology major.

The school is pretty good the only bad part is that there are no girls lol.
he's not really active on the forums and i don't have anyway to contact him, but i'll tell him if i can.
im not the tournament director, but the tournament direcotr told me that it will be payout to top 5, but he doesn't know the payout yet, but 1st will be 60% most likely
my bad i'm a little late on the response but.. who's this and when did we talk? lol. im sorry i really can't remember when this happened :D
You do realize that there are different islands in Hawaii. Half the time I'm not even on that island.
The smashfests are primarily Melee players, but some of the people that go also play Brawl. You've probably heard of BigLou (one of the best Luigi's in the nation)... he attends college at SPSU so he is there quite often. He will be more than happy to play Brawl with you. During the school semester we have more Brawl players show up because SPSU is like the center point of a lot of colleges, plus they want to play with BigLou, lol. A lot of other gamers show up to the smashfests and they play games like Blazblue, TvC2, Street Fight 4, and Melty Blood. I also play a bit of brawl myself but only for fun (I don't enter brawl tournaments.)
He 2-0d me, but both matches were really close. He doesn't do anything fancy; he's just really smart. I beat his sheik though =P
I dunno, I don't really have a prediction for APEX... I definitely wanna see Japan take the top spots though! And I wanna see all of them in videos and live stream. :D

Let' see how "advanced" the japanese are in their metagame, since i've heard they like dissing USA's way of playing the game. ;)
