While I do still think Sonic Origins' DLC is goofy, I also think people are treating it like a bigger deal than it actually is. Most of it is for the most trivial things you could imagine - I doubt anyone would be calling for being able to move the camera around on the main menu if Sega didn't include it at all. The "DLC" for Mirror Mode and the hard missions are probably just "fastpasses" so you don't have to unlock them in the main game. The only DLC thing I find questionable is paying extra for 3D Blast/Spinball/Chaotix tracks.

I get that a lot of companies handle DLC horribly, but to compare Sega to EA or something based on this alone is hyperbole.

Well, I'll be. Sonic Origins is panning out to be better than I expected. Sure, there are things I'm not a fan of (having what seems like three DLC packs, widescreen being exclusive to the "anniversary mode", a suprisingly steep price point of $40, etc.), but overall, it seems like a well put-together package which has a lot of replay value. Consider it wish-listed.

Okay, there’s something I gotta talk about regarding All-Star Strife; Namely, me nominating Sans for a Companion Card role. I should have explained my reasoning when I initially submitted him, but better late than never, I suppose.

I didn’t nominate Sans because I don’t like him or think he’d be a boring pick. Absolutely not. I love Sans; He’s my favorite Undertale character, and if I were just doing an indie roster on my own, he’d probably be playable. I completely understand why people want him in.

The problem moreso comes down to a rule I’ve set for fighter representation - Only two fighters per series. I consider Undertale and Deltarune to be one series (feel free to debate me on this), so while I’d like to have Sans in, Kris kinda takes priority for me. That said, I didn’t wanna have Sans completely absent, so I figured a Companion Card would be the best place to put him.

(I’m aware this could all be completely irrelevant depending on how the thread continues; If Kris doesn’t end up getting in the roster at all, I’ll probably look real silly.)

This whole spiel’s probably totally unnecessary on my part, but I didn’t want to go to sleep with this still on my mind. Again, I should have been clear on my intentions earlier, and I’m sorry.
