No; It's usually $5, but it's currently on sale for $2.50. Not too expensive, but not free, either. I totally recommend it, though - I know I post about it to a near-memetic level, but it's genuinely a great game and near-perfectly captures the feel of early arcade games without being quite as grueling as its inspirations.
EDIT: Actually, that's a semi-lie: There is a free demo of the game. I didn't even know this before now.
