This mod looks seriously hype - I feel like they went above and beyond when it came to the trophy display in particular, and I like how it's catering to both casual and competitive players. I'll be keeping up with this mod!

After a little bit of thinking, I've finally figured out a DLC "roadmap" for All-Star Strife that I think could be interesting and fun.
Basically, I plan on having three DLC fighter jobs, with two fighters added per job. There aren't any requirements when it comes to submission - anyone (given they're from an indie game, of course) is on the table. However, this is where the twist comes in. After each job, every submitted fighter who doesn't get in is added to a "deconfirm" list, meaning nobody can resubmit them for future jobs. This way, people are encouraged to submit different characters, including characters they have a personal attachment to.
I'm not 100% sure of this idea, but I think it could lead to some creative and fun submissions.
We need help breaking an announcer tie over in All-Star Strife. In addition, we're looking for animations for Anton from Antonball and Peacock from Skullgirls, and we have an upcoming job which would be a great place to start contributing to the thread. Please do consider stopping by!

If any Rivals of Aether fans are around, I'd recommend checking out Zetta's Workshop 3prints. A lot of really cool characters were revealed yesterday (a few highlights include Pepsiman, Spamton NEO, Solid Snake, and two Kirby characters), and the second half premieres in three hours.

It's weird to think there's only six slots left in All-Star Strife's base roster, especially considering the thread is just under two months old.

Say what you will about the franchise or creator, but I really appreciate Clickteam adding subtitles to FNaF 2 in the latest console update. It's such a small thing to do, especially for such an old game (at least old by FNaF standards), but it REALLY helps make the game more accessible to those who don't speak English.

I still stand by my statement that Sonic Origins seems like a solid collection, but Sega delisting the seperate listings for the included games on digital platforms feels SUPER scummy and a way to push the collection by making it your only option past May 20th.
Between this and the pre-order chart fiasco, it seems like Sonic Origins will be subject to awful marketing and business practices surrounding it, while the game itself is actually alright. That really sucks, and I hope there's enough outcry to get Sega to reconsider.

Even though I barely contributed to Smash Infinite (and to be honest, I don't remember what I posted there), I'm still sad to see it go. I'm aware that there was a lot of discourse there, but at the same time, it was nice to see such an ambitious project go for such a long time. Even though it won't be finished, I still have mad respect for everything the team put together.
I completely understand why Venus locked the thread, and I wish them the best. Maybe someday we can get some sort of spiritual sequel, but I don't think now's the time.
