To clarify, just because I submit a scenario in the "Should The Change Be Made?" thread doesn't mean I think said change should happen. I just submit scenarios which interest me or present an interesting dilemma.

For example, I don't really think the the fighter/deluxe Mii costume swap I just posted should happen. I would have been more excited for Cuphead and Doom Slayer over Byleth and Sora respectively (though I'm not against their inclusion either), but I don't think it'd be worth sacrificing Steve.

be me
not doing so hot in calculus during the spring semester
final grades to be reported on the 18th post-finals
decide to sign up for one of my school’s summer courses so i can retake the class and get the grade i need for my major
take my final a few days later, know i probably failed it
fast forward to the 18th
grades aren’t in yet
turns out they were delayed to the 23rd
weird but okay
23rd comes, i somehow get the grade i needed in the spring calc course
go to drop out of the summer course and get my refund since i no longer need it
turns out the drop-out deadline to get all my money back was on the exact same day i got my final grades, meaning that signing up for the class was all a waste of time/money
now i can only get 50% back if i drop out by the 30th

why should i pay for the school’s incompetence

I'm trying not to say too much about my platfighter so far (I want to keep things a surprise for when I start actually publishing it), but I am REALLY happy with this latest moveset. I think it suits the character really well, and maybe even moreso than the moveset he has in another platfighter (all i'll say about that is that said platfighter isn't smash).

(also in no way is this going to be a real game, i do not have the time or patience to learn gamemaker or something)

In terms of non-gaming characters for Smash, people seriously sleep on Nester. He's a nostalgic character, has ties to Nintendo (being... y'know, created by Nintendo), and even has his own game. Captain N would probably fit the "classic Nintendo multimedia rep" mold too, but to be honest, I'd prefer Nester.
