I've been watching the first episode of loki and the concept of "organization that controls the flow of time and corrects diversions" is so overused that I can barely take it seriously. It was handled in a kind of cringey way too.

There are a lot of questionable series and all, but still, people who call any game or anime that has non-sexualized children in a main role "pedobait" are incredibly creepy, and what they're saying has the opposite effect of what they're trying to do.

I think it’s really problematic when someone gets literally all their news from a single political streamer. Believe me, there are lots of people who do.
Instead of ice climbers, Melee should have had a generic “NES Sportsplayer” character with a moveset representing all Nintendo’s old NES sports games.
I don’t want to sound entitled or anything, but I’ve been taking driving lessons for a while now to learn how to drive, and the teacher has literally never told me what I’ve been doing right, or if I’ve been doing anything right at all. I get literally no positive feedback at all during the entirety of the lessons.
Again, I don’t want to sound like one of those “I’m so special!!” kids who will break down if they’re not complimented every 5 seconds, but still people naturally learn more from positive feedback and being harshly criticized for two hours at a time is starting to get to me a little bit. It also feels like I’m not improving at all. It’s really discouraging.
I don’t get why people get angry when a game company has a video that only reveals a logo for an upcoming game. Like do you not realize what the point of a teaser trailer is?
Is it just me or are there some fans who think literally every indie game is in the exact same boat when it comes to smash speculation? There were people who thought Jonesy was pretty much confirmed now that Steve got in even though they’re from completely different series.
There’s also lots of people who assumed someone like the Impostor would get in as a Mii costume even though, again, being an indie game is pretty much the only thing it has in common with undertale and cuphead

I feel like Persona 4 will generally be better remembered than Persona 5 in the future. A bit of this is because 4 is often considered to have better writing and characters (Even though I don’t really think it has better characters) but mostly because how people see a lot of the fanbase as cringey. It may not seem like it’ll really affect the perception of the game, but I think it will and sort of already has.
I'm surprised the american release of chrono trigger kept the anime art style on the boxart. A lot of other games would replace it with a way uglier and less artistic boxart.

Every time crashboards happen I am reminded that I probably rely on this site a little too much, and it’s maybe a little too built into my daily routine
Introverted/shy characters can either be one of my favourite characters of the series or the absolutely worst characters of the series depending on how they’re handled.
If they have actual depth and a good personality, most of the time I like them. If all the characterization they get is “umm I uh-um-uh-uh-um-uh-um- l-like nerdy thing but um-uh-uh too nervous to um express it-um” yeah I don’t like them.
Also when their shyness is played as a joke literally every time they’re on screen, I probably won’t like them. Once or twice it’s fine, but I don’t like it when it’s a running gag. That’s why I like Marianne from FE but don’t really like Bernadetta that much.
