I know this sounds really negative, but it is a pretty fun story.

They literally just blew up their own continuity and removed literally ALL stakes from the prior films/shows. Everything is pre-determined. Nothing could have ever happened differently because if it did...Time Swat would melt you and reset time. It's almost 'meta' but not in the good way. These guys are personifications of Disney's writing team and they ensure the happenings of the MCU happen as they would if they were a film. It's ****.

I think you're exaggerating it a bit, but I do think a lot of the prior material is recontextualized in a really unsatisfying way knowing the confirmed existence of the TVA. Plus the whole 'If I tell you what happens, it won't happen" line from Endgame is complete bull**** now that the show is out.
To be fair though, the TVA from the comics was said to apply to every marvel universe so I suppose it already did exist in the MCU before Loki came out.
I think the show is actually pretty good though.
