I feel like a lot of people are willing to agnowledge the flaws with shigeru miyamoto but there’s still a pretty bad problem with idol worshipping of him in the nintendo fandom
I kinda feel like trophies are actually a pretty big reason why ghost of tsushima is such a popular sony game. I hear a lot of people talking about it for the completion aspect and I looked it and and almost half of all people who have played ghost of tsushina have 100% completed it.
I know it might not be possible for all games but it would be nice if more companies made it so that to get all achievements/trophies you only need to play a game once and there aren’t any “missable” trophies. I know it would definitely get me playing the game more.

I think in terms of raw gameplay, traditional fighters are more fun than platform fighters but platform fighters will always be infinitely more fun when played with other people even if it’s just one other person. This is just from when I’m wanting to play casually and not going into deeper mechanics BTW.

Literally any time I went to a game store this year I saw a two foot tall funko pop of babu frik from star wars. I don’t know what demand there is that they would make a gigantic version of this character but apparently there’s some.

When watching youtubers you have pretty much no way of telling how tall they are because of how the camera works and so when you look it up it's always a shock to find out which youtubers are way taller or shorter than you thought
The n64 emulator on switch is completely awful of course but one thing I'm glad about is that they stopped doing whatever they did on the wii u that made everything really dark.
I saw someone saying that squid game can’t be a critique of capitalism because it has merchandise and that’s so dumb for obvious reasons. Just think about that for a second please? Do you realize who’s making the merchandise because it certainly isn’t the series creator.

It must be so awkward to play an RPG and just… not include the main character in your party. I know there are some RPG’s where you can do that for most of the game and it must be weird when they’re so crucial to the story

I’ve actually seen a lot of people saying that wishing that a “rocks pirates movie” would be the episode 1000 announcement and oh my god I hate that idea. Delegating crucial lore, characters and information that would completely change the course of a TV show to a movie is just dumb and confusing. The rocks flashback needs to be a really big part of whatever section it’s in, if it happens.

Someone should make a “bad games smash bros”. Add alex yiik, morshu, johnny silverhand, jake conway from ride to hell retribution, ingrid, balan, sonic boom sonic, mephiles, chin from hong kong 97, captain sawada, axl from mega man x7 and not technically a game character but aki ross from ff spirits within.
Also I wouldn’t want it to be filled with licensed games since that’s pretty low hanging fruit and could fill up this whole game quickcyberpunk is technically a licensed game but shhhhhhhbut atari 2600 ET and shaquille oneil like he appears in shaq fu would probably be in as well.

People are getting mad about elden ring trying to make itself more “accessible” which is ridiculous. Accessibility is not the same as difficulty and a game being more accessible is almost always a good thing.

I have absolutely no problems with someone using the phrase, but slogans like “#ThankYouSakurai” really show how sometimes people care too much about just one person and not the actual development team.
I know it’s just a slogan but still the smash community should really be thanking and crediting developers more in addition to directors
I don’t think a smash ultimate sequel necessarily needs to have more characters than ultimate to “top” it (in terms of quality not scope) but judging by the amount of fans that would look and it and go “uhhhhh roster smaller so roster bad!” I think a smash game like that would be a tough sell to most people especially if sakurai wouldn’t be involved
