A little weird how scott the woz didn’t mention the open worlds for lego dimensions in his toys to life video, given how in-depth he went into disney infinity and skylanders. The open worlds for each series just feel like such a big part of the game and each pack.

I get that game xplain is a primarily nintendo focused channel but the fact that their first video commenting on the goty awards is titled “Nintendo was MISSING at the game awards” and has a crying emoji because metroid dread didn’t win game of the year kind of strikes me as unprofessional.

When they decided to change “limp bizkit” to “flaccid pancake” for jojos bizarre adventure eyes of heaven I’m guessing it was meant as sort of a parody of the anime’s stand name localizations and wasn’t meant to actually be in any actual media. Honestly, the fans of big cinematographic games that always immediately dismisss something like metroid dread are annoying but it goes both ways as well because there are a lot of fans of nintendo games that are very dismissive of other companies games and games that aren’t as stylized or cartoonish.
