Okay what’s with the title of this video? Didn’t someone once point out that pretty much all big gaming youtubers got stuck at least once in Metroid Dread? I don’t know why the person who made this video is assuming no one did.
yeah I would say the amount of people I want to kill is somewhere between 100 and 200, give or take.
I feel like the next smash game should go back to having a title that’s a synonym for “fight” but I don’t think there are any left that aren’t taken by a fan game and don’t sound completely ridiculous
If cranky kong gets smash he should have moves based on the original donkey kong trilogy in addition to his playable appearances in the dkc games.
Adding popular characters to a game is not the same as “listening to fans”
I feel like such a substantial portion of the battles in jojo part 3 going to Polnareff was straight up bad writing. I’m fine with side characters getting more screen time if the author likes them more but it was just ridiculous with jjba part 3 when you consider how little battles, screentime and development other characters got compared to him.
I feel like a lot of the biggest dreamcast exclusives have this thing where they’re really fun and have an amazing aesthetic/art style but the game is designed in an unbelievably frustrating way and is really a lot harder than it needs to be. Things like sonic adventure, virtua fighter 3, shenmue, jet set radio and to a degree games like space channel 5 and power stone have this problem.
I love all those games and the system and all but yeah they have huge flaws with the way they’re designed and the first party games and exclusives of nintendo and sony didn’t have a problem like this.
I’ve gotta say, I just love the multiversus support threads that have been made so far
If I had a nickel every time a game series randomly decided to switch to putting a number in their entries’ names at the seventh one I’d have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice

I feel like the biggest moveset change that should happen in a future smash game is changing Snake’s up special to the fulton recovery. I know Big Boss does it, not snake, but it’s such an obvious move and would work so much better than his current one. They wouldn’t even need to change much about it.
I’m not saying things without complicated themes can’t be art, but people who say things like “keep politics out of videogames” and complain about games having themes of mental illness are literally arguing that games shouldn’t be considered art
I like classic mode routes where each character fits a certain criteria better than classic mode routes that just try to have each character resemble ones from the source material, especially because spirit battles pretty much already do that
The ESRB makes dumb decisions with their rating system all the time but it’s not this completely awful scourge of the industry like some people say it is, and the people who say this are probably 14 year olds upset that they can’t play GTA

Fighting EX Layer is such an oddity licensing-wise. I just think it’s kinda strange how Arika has full ownership of characters they made for Street Fighter and puts them in games that Capcom has absolutely no involvement in… and then capcom includes them in an online database they have and even credit Arika and still never put them in their own games

I’ve talked before about how I think fraymakers was probably intended to be a collection of whatever indie game characters the dev team thinks could be the most interesting in a platform fighter and not just a collection of the most popular indie characters, but still I feel like given there’s a fighter’s ballot we probably are gonna get some of the big name indie characters like shovel knight, shantae, sans, etc.
