I really want a Mario Maker fangame to embrace the contraptions that people made in the original game instead of just going all in on the vanilla-style levels. I love the stuff people make when they're working in a limited environment.

My idea to make the Minecraft Mob Votes better: People can get pretty worked up over not getting to play with the cool new mob ideas that they've seen, so let's just make all the mobs horrible! Have all the mobs look like the ****tiest most game ruining monsters imaginable so nobody feels cheated out of 2 cool mobs, but instead grateful for not having to deal with 2 more annoyances! Here's an example of what a vote like this could look like:
- The Redstone Worm: a big red rocky worm that burrows throughout the ground and eats redstone and redstone-related blocks. If it eats enough blocks then it'll reproduce and spawn another Redstone Worm. They're neutral but the whole pack attacks you if you attack them. (like wolves) And you better believe that they like to hide in blocks when fighting you. Spawns in all biomes.
- The Bog Floater: A floating oozing ball with various sticky goo leaking out. It's hostile that shoots goo around itself in a circle to attack. Instead of doing direct damage, this goo instead applies nausea, poison, and slowness. This goo also goes onto the ground, and applies its effects if you step on it. But if you thought that this could spice up combat, think again! Because whenever it's night, they fall to the ground and turn completely passive, making it very unlikely you'll fight another hostile mob at the same time as this. Spawns in swamps, but it can float pretty far and even end up in biomes that are near swamps. Also doesn't make any noises until attacking so you never really know if you're safe.
- The Snatcher: A silly little guy. It can steal one stack of items from any chest and run away afterwards. Prioritizes valuable items. Also if a chest has gunpowder or TNT, it has a chance to just explode. If there are no chests around, it can decide to steal an item from the player's hotbar. Also has a 50% chance to activate trapped chests. It can't jump high, so just build in a high place without using stairs... or ladders, cause it can climb those.

If a game is "only good with mods" then I don't think that should invalidate the experience that said game with mods can give. It's still all just code after all. Just because you shouldn't eat raw flour doesn't invalidate bread.

Ok but what happened leading up to the "Wait, it's all Ohio?" meme? The Ohio-ness of Earth is obviously a secret that the gun astronaut was in on and knew to keep under wraps, but then why did he go along with the first astronaut on the mission? How many people know that "it's all Ohio"? Is it just him? Him and a few other people? A whole conspiracy?
I have no interest in any Ruby Gillman media whatsoever except for this one specific deleted scene that I love.

If I had a nickel for every anthropomorphic hot dog from a 2010s Cartoon Network show who is named after a variation of "Hot Dog [Word for person]" where pretty much their entire character is that another character unintentionally causes great suffering for them I'd have two nickels.
I think this is a pretty cool guy.

"movie" is actually a pretty weird word for its popularity.
Had a dream that someone made Drifting Dimensions a real game but none of the crossover characters were in it. Instead, I think like the engine classes all had unique characters or something. The game was in a pixel art 2.5D style and got super popular, up to like, a mainstream level. Then in another part of the dream there was only one character who looked a lot like Plok and there was some multiplayer free roam mode or something. I think they were also trying to build up to the crossover roster or something because while I was playing it there was an announcement that Mort the Chicken would be added, and there was also some random duck added as a racer at the same time.
If Gordon Freeman was in Smash (or another platfighter) I think that a Garry's Mod player would be a really good echo fighter for him. The weapons in Gmod are literally just the weapons from Half Life 2, so you'd pretty much only have to code in an item-spawning move, a couple of props, maybe change a couple of visuals, and you've already got a pretty good fighter. While a fully-unique fighter would still be cool, this could still be a pretty easy and faithful way to represent Gmod.
DOS game prices were wild back in the day, you've got like some **** called something like "Balloon Bouncer" that consists of 350 repetitive levels that was made in a week and has exactly one more unique mechanic than the shareware version and it has the exact same price as something like Doom.
Granted, back in these days they had to mail out all copies due to the being unable to offer them for download at such a scale, but I digress.
The NASB thread getting mad at WaWaWa for treating it like a different thing instead of a sequel when he didn't like the new direction it was going in and then having a full-on meltdown when there were hefty cuts to the roster instead of just additions or even a low number of cuts sure is a thing.

I wanna see how cool Nintendo fangames (and other fangames too) could get if people were allowed to make money off of them. Like, look at Touhou, people can make money off of fangames of that and there are tons of bangers that are even being sold on Steam and consoles.
I honestly hate whenever people say they're glad the live-action Powerpuff Girls reboot got cancelled. Like, if it got released it'd probably really funny in a so bad it's good way, mediocre at the absolute worst.
Shoutouts to viewing the most recent games on Steam. I genuinely like sorting through the shovelware to find the hidden gems.
