Lol, typical flopmerican. Amsah could be the best in the world and he wouldn't make top 5 on many of your lists, just because he wouldn't travel (which he is not doing because of a serious health problem)

Anyway, I HATE when people use Amsah as argument for other players being a "fluke" or him not being top 5 or w/e.

At pound 4, Amsah was top 5 material for sure. After pound 4, he started playing much less, and come pound 5 (a whole year after) he wasn't as good ANYMORE. That says very little about how good he was one year before that.

Several sources have also said that Javi wasn't even really playing at his best at Apex. IIRC he had been inactive/semi inactive for a long time but was planning to play a lot in the month before Apex2012, but then a relative fell sick and he was at the hospital 12hours a day.

Of course, this shouldn't even be considered. Javi MUST have been playing his best and PP must have been extremely sick. No one even bothered to look for any information about Javi, they just looked for excuses for the grand america, as always

also at apex2013 and Smashers reunion america is gonna get the big ****
lol this is the most epic compilation of johns i have ever seen in my life lmao....

I am actually curious—what's the swedish version of the name "john"? Is it like Jan or what? I will bet any amount of money that it's Leffen's IRL first name. That guy's unbelievable.

Hax is almost as bad tho

idk how Hax put that character johns... Just try to be as perfect as Silent Spectre and you'll beat everyone (except mango and PP lol) and like Kage said, MM Mango in Falcon dittos, that will be material for **** x 3 lol

@robyextreme: Dark is from Chile and he will get *****... Yep, he can do 100 shines and wall trap with shine + SHDL but he'll sucks against REAL top players. And I think his combos are staged ._.

And I call Javi to be top 3 at the next national he attends (most possible Apex 2k13). Losing to Mango and Armada (like EVERYONE lol) He will just learn puff matchup and Marth's one (Hbox and M2K are his biggest problem I think) PP, like always since PoundV will get to losers in WSF by Armada (Hope I'm wrong)

So by the end of the year I think..

1/2.- Armada/Mango
3/4.- Javi/PP (not sure)
5.- Hbox, Mew2king
6.- Tuga (?)
7.- S2J/Hax

* Tuga because he is in Javi's level, most possible to be in Mango's level (so, Tuga > PP)

Or just **** all and say that Mango is always sandbagging and his 10 characters are top 10 lol

Pp is really good. Im pretty sure he said that though.
He also said tuga gets nervous and doesnt think he will place as high as he would.

Javi vs PP would part 2 would be great to see. I hope Javi comes to Apex 2013 0r Rom 5

The difference between PP vs Javi 1 and PP vs Javi too is I'm willing to bet PP has studied every video available of Javi and has specific note on his habits by now.

I think planned exhibition events other than crew battles would be a really cool idea for nationals.

^ This.

It's always sad when you get really hyped for potential Matches and then they never happen. I've felt that way ever since Genesis 1 when Darkrain and Silentspectre were going to play.

Yeah, I loved the Isai vs. Captain Jack exhibition match sooooo much!

>_>
are you seriously trying to say any match between m2k/armada/drpp/javi/mango/tuga would be boring?

isai vs cj was a joke, both below top 10 players, and isai not playing the game for years nor wanting to play.

Nice way to provide the worst possible example ever and use that as a reason why exhibition matches are bad.

Even if it was a joke, the **** you sometimes post is so bad and we KNOW youre serious, so its so hard to tell apart your sarcasim from just being plain ********.

Even is a Brawl example... in E4U MikeHAZE did a concept match
TKD vs Mr R
México vs Netherlands

That was awesome, Alex Strife had to do in apex, México vs Europe (AR, Ice, Amsah) (talking primary about Javi in his first USA tourney)

/offtopic

PP vs Javi 2 would be same like 1, just PP losing 2-1 /bet
And tuga will win against Mango's Falco and then mango would change to Falcon /bet

Maybe I'm crazy but the next BIG tournament, AR will get 3rd place... idk

I know I've been letting all of you down lately, but just know that I've been training harder than ever lately, and I'll do my very best to come back very soon.

I'll try my absolute hardest at FC, but we'll see what happens. I'll be taking some huge risks (I.e. my methods of training lately, and also character choice), so we'll find out soon if they'll pay off. And this time I don't have all this crazy drama on the side clouding my mind (johns lol).

Just know that I'm working hard to rise to the top again, and doing the best I can to make it to the next level. I don't want to let all of my best friends and the Melee community down anymore.

I really don't care for exhibition matches, they are a poor substitute for tourney matches and they often kill the hype once the match does happen in the tourney. You could do them after the tourney to avoid this, but the hype is usually dead by then anyways.

Javi vs Mango worked because it was kinda done in the middle of things after we knew the match wasn't gonna happen. I suppose exhibition matches like that could be fun.

You easily are one of the most inspirational players in the community

like even if you got 4 stocked

in every game you play

from now till the end of time

You still ****

and thats quite a statment

you did the most important thing for this community

you inspired

you gave hope to a bad grossily over weight character and those who play it

you gave smiles to the women who gazed on you

and you gave this low tier main a dream

AND I DONT PLAN ON WAKING UP

Zhu underrated (6-0 against shroomed)

edit: also before you all hate, yes, i am a random nobody that just made an account to say this...
Fly is underrated. He just beat Oscar and Westballz. I know he 3-0ed Wes in GF, forgot how many games Oscar took.

No, wait, S2J ***** Fly two weeks prior. He's underrated.

No, wait, maybe they're just all really good, familiar with each other, have varying degrees of motivation when playing locals and you simply can't overreact to small sample sizes.

382 YT views?
He hasn't quite faded into obscurity, but he's certainly fallen a long way since Pound 4, wouldn't you think?
Um, no. It's not like Pound 4 was his coming out party. Anyone who was anyone was aware for a long time that Amsah was an elite player. For years he was the Ken of Europe. Go watch Amsah/Nihonjin v Captain Jack. Nihonjin v Ek on Fountain of Dreams.

People rarely lose sleep over the results of the Super Bowl, much less the results of a video game. That doesn't mean Axe can't be the most inspirational Smash player out there (except Kage -bias-). You honestly can't help but root for Axe, hes just badass. Definately a peoples champ

It's okay, Axe. Everyone goes into a slump after losing to me, even if it was just a friendly. Just remember that I'm *** and lost to KevinM's Pikachu once. You can do it!
