[VIC] Melbourne N2C Thread: Regular casual meetups for Brawl/Melee/Smash 64

It usually goes until ~11pm, but seeing as how Rocky is the next day, it will run til about 2am. xD
Ill be making an appearance on friday to say HI AAII AIIIIII to out of staters and yell at gords to hurry up and finish so i can go home already.

Uh.... i'm absolutely terrible but i might have a go =)
splice if you come either days you are so on 4 starcrtaft i was ranks pretty high back in the day!!!Because Dekar is correct in the sense that it will be 1000+ people on 4 Tvs, I will play anyone at StarCraft whilst no TVs are available at that time
That is, IF I come. I think i could make Friday buuuuut....

i wouldnt mind having a go at starcraft. i used to play a bit during high school, wasnt much good though but me and a mate actually wrote up our own custom campaign with characters and a story and everything. we even started to make it in the campaign editor but HSC got in the way and we never finished. still have all the paper work for it though
Now I really want to go to N2C with all these offers for Starcraft, although it looks bleak 
. Tak you play like every game that's awesome Since you live in Melbourne anyway we can probably play some other time anyway. Same thing for Atlas.
@Gords: Seeing as StarCraft Broodwar didn't quite end I made a 20 level campaign to finish it off and Kerrigan got killed by Raynor in the end, hand2hand combat style. But uh, there were a few times where i couldn't be bothered making buildings create units and commanding them, so I just made the units appear in the base and blamed it on "teleportation devices". Mmm.

that ending sounds awesome, my friend would of loved that finish
lets see how close your story is to starcraft 2, which i heard was ment to continue the story.
My campaign was a completely different story where the characters were based around me and my friend (as in they were us), and what we were into heavily at the time ( main female was named Ada after ada from resident evil LOL). my friend actually did a whole back story campaign to his character of about 10 missions and i did a whole three race interlocked campaign with each race having at least ten missions each. there were even some really cool maps. and mucking around with the triggers were a laugh like getting doors to open when you got units to move close to them and close as they moved away.
ill bring down the paper work and what ever data i have saved on my hard drive (no where near finished as i said) to show you, although i lost the dialogue sheets to water damage about a year and a half ago. but still have the main campign format.
argh all this starcraft talk is making me want to finish it.

Conor, could you update the list at the front for equipment to bring?
Me and Ricky are both gonna take, wii+brawl on the Friday night. Anyone that's bringing equipment please let us know by posting.
Since there's going to be 4 t.vs, Extra t.vs could be handy to bring along. (if possible)
We need more wii's and gamecubes for melee D;
Also people are welcome to come early as-well =), me and Ricky will be in the city hanging around at lunchtime. So yeah Call my mobile if needed be.
To annoy you some more Conor we should maybe put a contact section for people who need to call if they get lost. Put mine and yours there, possibly Cao maybe too.

I'm not sure about the hype for Thursday night, I would go but I'm going to be busy, and going out on Friday is already pushing it with my parents D;
People will probably rock up, just maybe a small crowd, which would be good if you want alot of singles practice. =)

More people are arriving on Friday so more people would be there, this is possibly bad since there's only 4 TV's at N2C, so around 12 people would be playing at any one time, with the rest waiting for turns. When crowds go beyond 16-20, it becomes too large.

me silfa and scabe may or may not be there, since we're staying with tibs it all depends on what he wants to do and I'm easy either way. but if we do go I wanna play some melee with cao, although he could probably beat me with a character he's never even played before.

I'll be there thursday and can bring component cables. And I will show up friday with all my stuff. But I will be leaving early like around 7:30ish early as condogs and I need to pick people up from the airport. Don't know if we will be comng back after but chances are we won't.

Consoles are needed people!!
And if we get too many people, and no extra tvs, we might have to place a limit on the number of attendees, so that everyone can get a decent number of games. If this is the case, people should choose 1 night they would like to come, it would be unfair if some people got to go both nights and others none.
