Which was like a $40 bet.

In relation to "timing people out". It's never my goal to time someone out, however, particularly against MKs, Wario has to play defensive. If he gets over aggressive, he will just get *****. Furthermore, his best kill move takes a minute and 30 seconds to charge, so it's often a good idea to wait for some time, even if your opponent has teh % lead.

I mean if there is like 30 seconds left, I'm not going to run at them though, I'll sit back and wait for a mistake. There was one game there with Earl where I had like a 100% lead and something like 30 seconds on the clock, I could have timed him out easily, But I just played patiently and found an opening in which to kill.

Sure, we all wish we had an utilt that we could bust out at any time and have it devistate everything in it's path, but not all of our characters are that lucky.

Nix: our team failed. I'm sorry for being such a bad partner. Intense matches in singles, I thought you were going to win after that first match. You're really good when you're playing the game on your terms.

Jei: playing against Pit on Japes is not fun; we learned that quickly. Good stuff, I think you're one of my hardest opponents.

Vermy: fun playing you in doubles. Your Snake's so much different from the rest of them. Fun playing you in pools, the Charizard's really good. Sorry for doing the dumb grab release stuff on Squirtle, I don't know if I should do it and 'play the matchup right' or not do it and be some sort of 'respectful' Brawler. You deserve respect for using the Trainer through that pool.

Tom: Falco? You used to be cool. Good stuff in doubles. You're obviously the superior Marth. Fun friendlies.

Afropony: you play the Marth matchup really well. Good to see someone who has some patience with their ledgetraps and edgeguarding. I hope I put up some what of a fight.
As a side note, I'm starting to really hate Shuttle Loop.

ViVa: um wow, I got really lucky. Some intense games, but I still think you're better than me, I just got some lucky reads. You'll do better next time. 'Later.

Luke: I thought our games were really fun, I hope you thought so too. They were closer than they should've been though, you're much better than me. Good to play you again, hope you enjoyed Melbourne. You're awesome for using Luigi against ViVa.

Shaz: I don't think you play this game much. But you do some really smart things that I don't see other people doing. Good games.

Joe: best player in Melbourne right here.

Toshi: you're so much cooler than Joe. And you're also really good at Brawl (and Melee from what I've heard). Did you have to send Aled to losers?

Tanman: fun team friendlies. Nice talking to you, although I'm sure I've never played your Sonic. I'll friendly you next tournament if you really want to prove you're better than me though. That Judgement 9 stage spike on me was ridiculous.

Khoa: you and Ryan make a really good team. Nice seeing you again. Start placing higher, you're better than me.

Haydino: good to see you show up. I wouldn't've bothered. Nice talking to you.

Attila: fun friendlies, although I think you hit me with more grenades when we were teaming than when we were opposing. Good to see you back in Australia, tournaments are better when you're here.

Louie: nice friendlies. Your Olimar seems pretty good. I don't think I've seen you before, are you new or does my memory suck? Should come again.

Alex: nice friendlies with you too. Should talk to more people instead of playing CPUs by yourself, these things become more fun once you get to know a few people.

Tournament was fun, I think I did well and I think I've found my niche in the placings. Room seemed a bit crowded at times, oh well. Good to see more entrants. Disappointed no time for low tier. This post was longer than I anticipated. Sorry if I seemed a little off; I was a little tired and a little sick for most of the day.

hahaha, I'm actually talking about Falcos camping. Hes prob the most boring char to camp with. I see Falco having diversity, but really how diverse is he compared to say MK, Snake and Diddy? From all the games i've seen Falco in he is very standard in terms of the options he has. I mean sure he has **** loads of AT's and is hard to use them effectively but in the end its just SHDL -> Illusion untill you find an opening to get some sort of combo in. all in all I think that he doesnt have many viable options compared to MK, Snake and Diddy but the Options he does have are Very good.

If you don't agree with me feel free to explain rather then just telling me I have no idea. I'd be interested to know.

earl planned to time me out from the very beginning. watch the match when it's uploaded. i chased him for 8 minutes.

mk dair/dtilt beats snake utilt.

mk doesnt actually need to time out any character to win the mu. other characters, like sonic and PT have to, though.

Note: I made a promise to myself to go 100% Pokémon Trainer in this tourney, just for some personal reflection. PT sucks. Trying to make PR and being 100% PT is near impossible. MK's, Snakes, Marths and other hard counters to PT are popping up everywhere. No 100% PT from me, and if it keeps up with S tier wh*res everywhere, you may never see my PT again. Brawl sucks. Guh.

No other Marth apart from Shaya ever has played the matchup right against my PT. You earned your victory. I just had to follow through with my self made promise. GGs.

ViVa: You were the only person in our pool who didn't hard counter me, and the only person to 3 stock me. Your Mario never fails to impress, don't be disheartened by losses and chokes. Just play a little more patiently. Take a leaf outta Ted's book, his "gay" style gets him placements, and while Mario isn't really capable of that playstyle, playing cautiously and defensively is an area i think you need work on. Keep it up bro, you're the only true low tier main who's made anything of himself.

Shaz: Good to see you back in the scene, your Ike is still beast, did a lot of things differently to other players. Hope to see you at some meets. GGS.

My only complaint is that I found it too hard to get friendlies so I was a little annoyed, especially coz I don't think many people got to play Bijou either.

Also I didn't eat any good food coz the convent bakery sold out of actual food and only had cardboard disguised as bread and cookies left so I got really car sick on the way home.

If I beat Attila I would have been happy, but both of us got to be on the way easy side of the bracket anyway, so really whoever won out of us two got the easy trip to 3rd. Neither of us deserved third though. I think Afro or someone was gonna get that side of the bracket but Nix didn't want to play Attila lol.

All the tournaments I've been to this year I've guessed my placing in singles befor the tournament and been correct

I definitely plan on coming again. Thanks as well to Attila and Alex in those friendlies, JaVa and Khoa for the games and encouragement in pools, Dekar and Earl for stomping me good in our matches =p, and Ledge for the chat and tips. And of course, the awesome guys who organised it (Condog and Vermy yeah?).
