Just a reminder to everybody that the FIRST EVER (hopefully of many yet to come) GENESEO SMASH TOURNAMENT is this weekend.

http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=271660

We're still trying to get setups together, so if you plan on coming and have one to bring, please post either here or in the tourney thread so we have an accurate idea of what to expect.

This is upstate NY, which is dry in comparison to the city. I haven't even seen NYC people at the tournaments I've been to

Guide to Camping

Step 1. Bring the right equipment. Nothing is worse than driving out to the woods with your camping gear to realize you don't have a hammer to nail in the stakes for the tent. Bugspray is important as well.
Don't forget to bring something to communicate with. Cell phones are nice, but out in the wilderness, service may be harder to find.

Step 2. Pitch your tent, and get a fire going. Fire is useful for cooking food, that you will eventually catch.

Step 3. Enjoy yourself! If you dislike being outdoors and living surrounded by nature, perhaps camping is not for you. I would recommend a game of Super Smash Brothers, because it is a fun game.

Check. Got plenty of bug spray. >:D (Waft)

Mmm... Check. (Bite)

Lol vicious.

Step it up, I noticed that like, a month ago. =P
It's ganon's dsmash covering all four fox options, three of which get two hits, one of which gets one.

Except every character actually has twelve options in a tech situation.

It's showing that ganon's Dsmash covers EVERY SINGLE TECH OPTION fox has. Srsly, that ****'s insane.
Not every option.

covering the tech options only on the platform, off the platform the dsmash hits everything but the forward tech
Bingo. Or DI off the platform.

MLG did something that i though was really really really really really impressive that i cant stress enough that we and all smash community should do. During the big matches. Winners Finals. Losers Finals. and Grand finals. All the set ups were turned off except for those matches. That way people were kinda forced into watching. Which adds to extreme hype. I think at mlg we had just about eveyone (over 150) Watching the Grand finals Losers Finals and Winners finals. Which made it 100% more enjoyable for trash-talk/hype/support. I really think we need to start applying this to our tournaments which will bring us closer to a community and also prepare us for out of state tournament matches. People cant focus when trash is being talked about them during a close match with someone of equal skill which is gonna happen out of state (trust me i know Florida was backing up there players EVERY MATCH) (And i lost to Florida twice) Our main goal at tournaments is to grow as a community, and make ourself better so that we can represent our community at a national level. We should consider doing this.

I think it's a good idea... although knowing you, I find it some what hypocritical that you say this, because sometimes I implore you to watch finals with me, and sometimes you weren't interested 'cause you wanted to friendly other people. :/

Anyone know how to fix a controller?

I raged when playing wifi and now none of the buttons work. I think it's a problem with the wire.
