sorry amber for that. I've played all the noteworthy girl smashers on the east coast. And IMO if
you keep improving you can easily be the best girl smasher I've played. Jeff played Marin in Florida in tournament too, he will have a good opinion as well. You're seriously mad good

imo mlg could make bank if they had both melee and brawl, so many more hardcore ppl for melee who are willing to travel. but SOOOOOO many more nabs for brawl

Also, as a point of interest, I thought it should be mentioned that the 10th place spot on the melee list was pretty much a toss up between Snakeee, and Pyro.....

just sayin... maybe yall should not be such douches to/about the guy...

On another note whose going to geneseo/IFFMF in syracuse may 1st? =s I think San is going to both but what about pika?

It seems like the PR is updated every three events or so so yeah. . . I want to do well at the next three events to hopefully get on the PR. Had some good matches last weekend, and had some close matches with sharky this weekend/tuesday. Still need to step up my game some but I'm making good progress. :D

Whats our region like during the summer? Do we have a lot of events? Is most of the community gone when college is out? I think sheth lives OOS but I'm not sure about the rest. =s I hope at least one local event happens.

I'm planning on going to mlg columbus and then otakon this summer. I most likely won't place jack **** at mlg, and otakon isn't a legit tourney but its good experience against scrubs.

and acton, the majority of rochester brawl is NOT going to be here over the summer. and most likely, me and pika will be doing a lot of traveling again.also, i do my best to update the PR like once a month, which up until now has meant an update after every tournament.

Yeah I'm kind of on the poor side, but if you guys are doing something on the weekend, or maybe a friday-sunday thing and its like under 50bucks for the whole weekend count me in. :D Other then that I guess its just going to be a lot of wifi and playing against cura and sharky and bry. >.<

Wait, didn't steffon just place terribly and neil place terribly in the previous tournament? I'm just saying, I don't really thing I should be on it because I'm becoming inactive. Johns don't apply either, they placed bad. I never place below a certain threshold. Consistency is more important than random high placements.


plus I haven't played steffon in tournament in like six months. And I've beaten him in two drunken mm's neither of which with my main but he was using his. JUST SAYING

Due to the bracket having no seeding Steffon played Jesse first round and I don't remember who after that but he placed terribly due to the bracket, nothing else.

He wouldve lost to Jesse regardless where they wouldve met in bracket. The loss to silverspawn... No johns steffon.

No jones though. If he outplaces me (or actually beats me) he deserves it.

I'm ascending in Melee. My maximum skill level, or very close to it, I'm able to play at more consistently now. I'm doing things I've never done before, learning deeper and new ways of comboing. I can't wait to get to the point where I play perfectly all of the time.

I actually just looked at the list, I don't contest my spot that much but the rest of the list is kind of fail TBH. I wasn't involved in it so nobody blame me, that must've been all goggles.

It seems like the most recent tournament is favored almost exclusively in determining the PR. I'm assuming Goggles did this by himself. There's some heavy personal bias in both PR's IMO.
